Well, when people say that Jim Berry likes to talk, they don't lie . I was on the phone to him for about an hour and a half total today, but I learnt a lot (and a lot passed right through one ear and out the other too! haha). I have now ordered a custom clutch and new flywheel from Jim himself. It is almost the same as what Mat (34GeeTeeTee) is running, a 6 puk solid single plate, except with 5000 clamp pressure. It is a bit overkill for my car currently but I am hoping that I will never have to replace it . Jim said he would get a start on it and give me a call back in a couple of days, so hopefully I'll get it sometime next week maybe then I can figure out exactly when I will be able to get help fitting it -
I have a few things in my garage that I'd like to get rid off to clear some space. Front mount intercooler 600x300 core 3 inch thick - $100 - my friend went to spray HKS on it one day and somehow screwed it up so now it has HK and a square next to it haha. Suitable to be painted completely black or to be cleaned if you want. KKR660 turbo - $250 - to my knowledge in working order, was left in a workshop and I managed to score it. R34 GTT door trims - $50 - small pieces missing (i.e. part of one handle, reflector/light) Stock R34 GTT springs - $50 - nothing wrong with them, replaced with King Springs Stock R34 GTT front brake rotors - $50 - only removed because upgraded, car had 150,000kms, unsure if machined before. Stock R34 GTT stock brake lines - $15 - replaced with braided lines. Stock R34 GTT front swaybar - $130 - only removed due to upgrade. Stock R34 GTT rear swaybar - $130 - only removed due to upgrade. All items are open to offer and plus postage. All located in Dubbo NSW 2830. Can post pictures of all items after I get home from work if anyone would like, but they are all pretty generic. Please contact here or text me (Tim) on 0434 391 397.

Yea man, the Supersprints are just Conrod so you could just do one of those days. But I will insist that you do a hill climb as well man, would love to hear your car hitting gate all the way up the mountain -

For sure man There is an Esses Descent planned on the 30th March but not 100% sure if it will go ahead. Hillclimb on Mountain Straight on 31st August, Supersprint on Conrod on 2nd November and again the 29th November as well as a Hillclimb on Mountain Straight again on the 30th November. -

The regs said 95db limit, but they didn't have anything to test it. There were a couple of cars running screamers and I'm sure they would have been at least 110db LOL. You'd fit in fine ;P -

One last video. View from the outside GoPro on my last run. The clutch smelt very bad at the end of the first day after missing third gear and then kicking the shit out of it trying to get the car sliding up the top haha. It started to smell again at the end of the second day, so I am definitely in the market for a new clutch before the next event. I've got a quote from NPC and have tried calling Jim Berry but have had to leave a message. Once I hear back from him I will make a decision on which of the two I will go with and then buy it and hopefully get it all fitted before the motorkhana at Easter . Other than that the car performed faultlessly all weekend which is great -

Good to know haha. I never do track days that require 5th so hasn't really bothered me as yet lol. The guy that owned my car before me did a lot of highway driving from Bathurst to Sydney so I'm just guessing he didn't change back when he should have and put too much load on the gear through the moutains or something. -

Nice vid. My 5th gear has been grinding in ever since I got it if I change into it at anything over 80km/h -

I have to admit I was surprised seeing as it was a state level comp. I think I only managed it because I was (the tiniest bit) less scared of hitting a wall haha. Couple of videos uploading now so will post in the morning and will get some more uploaded during the day hopefully -

Just got home from Bathurst from competing in the first two rounds of the NSW State Hill Climb Championship. Day 1 was backwards up the Esses, unfortunately it was raining all day which slowed the times a bit, meant I had a bit of fun though . Day 2 was from Mountain Straight up to McPhilamy Park, luckily it stopped raining that night and after the girst group of cars the track had dried up . I managed to pull off a third place for my class both days, even though my car was still setup exactly how I drifted it (nice and stiff) and running stretched Rotalla tyres on the rear of the car haha. YAY two trophies for me haha. I will post up more pics and vids tomorrow -

Sorry to see you had a "mishap" on the weekend man, any damage to the wheel or suspension? Considering, that could have been a lot worse, and to be honest for a drift matsuri, if that's the worst that happened the car held up well ;P -

About time haha. How did you find the difference? When I did mine I did fluid, lines, pads and rotors all in one hit so it was a big difference lol -
