1999 R34 Gt-T
kawasakirider replied to R33 Gts-T Sedan's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Was this r34 sort of blue/grey with gold drift teks? -
I think he meant GTS-4, the GTS-T doesn't quite make the flamin mongrel. Just doing my job. TU if the wasteland brought you here.

I don't believe you.

Congrats, being from Sydney is a definite advantage when it comes to intelligence! Yes, p platers can drive a 210 kw VE SV6 Now they can also drive a turbo car up to 125kw/tonne Better run for the hills and never drive again, a car with a turbo is way more dangerous than a corolla hooking through a school zone! Has the p plate road toll dropped since the introduction of power restrictions? No. OP, by the time you get your licence, cars will fly but P platers will only be able to drive ground vehicles, their performance won't matter, as they'll be seen as almost obsolete and underwhelming compared to jet cars. Just buy the GTT now in preparation for the next few years. The places for all of those parts is supercheap and Bob Jane T-marts. You can buy matte black paint and cool seats from supercheap and there's also sections full of racing steering wheels and gear knobs, they have speakers, too. The most important thing though; is that they stock cannons. Get in ASAP as their cannons never last long. The bigger the better, buy two and stick one on the other side of the car for symmetry. They have an array of specialty tools and if you have any problems whatsoever, the in house supercheap technicians can help you fit seat covers and offer you advice on which wood screws will hold that heart shaped cannon on best. Bob Jane is the go to guy if you want high performance 22" rims and grippy nangkangs that will surely get you stepping out at the roundabout D1GP.

Don't install a front mount, you'll have no room for the 18" deceptecon badge.

Hey mate, why so cheap? Will the car come with a rwc? -
Best Non-Turbo Skyline?
kawasakirider replied to AdamJayden's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
My ute is p plate legal and has 200 RWHP which is close to 150kw, a locker and it's manual, it's fairly fun, pm me if you wanna buy it . I considered a non turbo skyline on my p's but decided it wasn't worth it. The time goes by quicker than you think. -
It was very easy to find the creator of the video, since he used his real name as his youtube screen name. It was also easy to find the owner of the GTR by looking through old mates friend list. They're idiots... They've done more stuff in a supra and the red VK in the video.

Unless you had firefox set to private browsing because you were also searching for "blowers" at the time, I don't see why you couldn't hit ctrl + h

Hmm ok guys, thanks. If the time comes when I go to seriously look at it, I'll get someone who knows their shit to come with me. I reckon this guy has bought the car and has no idea what is on it. He definitely said it had the stock manifold though, he told me if I changed the manifold it would pick up another 30rwkw.
-
It didn't feel too laggy to me, it wasn't much over 3K before it started to hit really hard. He said it was on a stock manifold, so no HKS one there. I'll try to get some pics of the engine bay and stuff, I have a couple of pics of the car. I'll post them up in a little while, just gotta upload them to photobucket. When the time comes, I'll see if there's anyone experienced on here from SE QLD that would come and offer advice for a carton, haha.

Hey man, thanks for the reply. Uh, the bike I'm trading would probably be worth about 2.5k, it's a 2002 model KX 125, completely rebuilt recently, wiseco top end, hot rods rod kit, new reeds, new fmf exhaust etc. I've got a newer KX250 so the bike isn't a drama. He wanted 8k but is willing to do the bike plus 5 k. I'm planning on buying a 4 stroke in the future anyway, so I think the deal is pretty sweet.

Hey everyone, I went for a spin in a 33 on Friday. The bloke is selling it, but isn't in a rush and is happy to wait for me. He told me it has 280RWKW, it was definitely fast but I don't have anything to compare it to, I've only been in a few cars that had over 200rwhp, this thing made them feel slow as. I had only just met him and didn't know if he was a capable driver or not, so it scared the F out of me, hahaha.. Here's what it has (from memory, I don't know all of it)... T04Z turbo 80mm throttle body 3.5" catback with high flow cat I dunno the specs of the front mount Forward facing plenum (looks like a greddy but it's a cheapo), the guy was honest in saying that it's an ebay one, he reckons he hasn't had a drama with it I didn't ask about the fuel system, like injectors or pump, idk how much the stock system can flow, so I can't make an assumption about that. He didn't say if it was internally stock or not, but if it was built I'm sure he would have mentioned it, so I'm going to assume it's stock. I don't know what boost control set up he had, but it had a couple of brass dials on it and he could switch it on the fly, the maximum setting was 16 pounds but he said it spikes to 18 but never anymore than that. Is this dangerous, and is there a risk of it spiking more than that? Other than that, here is what the car has... 170xxx km's The interior is as clean as a whistle and it rides extremely smooth, not a single rattle in it. Hicas lock bar Volk rims (not sure what type) Tein adjustables Has a body kit and a stock front bar, has a nismo front bar with a bit of damage included. Has a bit of paint missing on the roof about the size of a 50 cent piece, fixed up with white out (lol) no rust. Small bit of rust on the passenger door, a bubble line about 4-5 cm long The driver side door has a dent coming from the inside out that you can't really see, the only giveaway is the paint has cracked. Apparently the window winder came off the rail and smacked into it. The deal is a kawasaki of mine plus 5 grand, the car will come with 6 months rego, a roadworthy, a new clutch and two new tyres on the back, plus the inclusions like the front bar and that. I'm pretty keen, I don't want to jump into it if it is going to prove to be a drama though. I think for the price it's a great bargain, the guy is a nice, honest bloke so I trust what he says about the car. He daily drives it 40+ km a day. What do you guys think? Anything for a skyline newb to look for, anything that doesn't sound kosher? Thanks in advance.

You have a deceased amphibian in your airbox.

I'll keep going every second day, maybe the exercises I struggle with I'll do first, so I'm not as tired? I'll have an extra day off as I feel pretty shit house today, but I'll start eating properly as of tomorrow. I bought all the stuff to eat last night, just had a busy day today.
-
I don't have a clear goal at this point in time, I do want to get bigger and put on lean mass. Not sure how big I'd like to be? The answer to the question is no, I haven't been drinking or eating enough each time I've gone. I'm going to fix that up before I go next time. I'll go tomorrow, I've been carrying fridges all day and haven't eaten or had anything to drink since last night. Probably my biggest problem.
-
So it won't be beneficial for me to be doing the same routine every second day until I get used to it? How long would you space it out for? I went the day before yesterday, should I leave it until tomorrow? Thanks for the advice, Birds.

Thanks mate, I don't intend to stop it's kinda weird going and seeing all these huge C*** benching more weight than a VW golf, though I'll fix my diet as best I can and keep going.

I had a hardcore case of EBV and now have chronic fatigue. I've just started going to the gym properly with a program written by a PT. Every time I've gone I've spewed up. I'm always tired, too. Is there any way I can get a good workout even with chronic fatigue?
-
Just started training properly at the gym. Each time I've gone, I've gotten through the workout but on my drive home I've spewed up and I've had hardcore headaches. Also, it seems that leaving a day between workouts isn't enough, because I can't do the weight that I did in the previous session. The PT wrote this session for me (keep in mind I'm a small guy so the weight is tiny, lol, 63 KG and about 5' 7") Dumbell bench press 15 KG Each side 3 sets of 12 reps Chest press 40 KG 3 sets of 12 reps Seated rows (I think that's what they're called) 15KG each side, 3 sets of 12 reps Lat pulldown, 40KG 3 sets of 12 Leg press, 80 KG, 3 sets of 12 Lunges I think that's it. I have to do this routine every 2nd day, so Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I've gone twice because I only joined last week, the first session I did, I smashed out the routine easy enough and I warmed up with a 1.5km run and a 2.5k bike ride, but last night I couldn't get chest press or lat pull down with the same weight and for the full 12 reps in each set. I THINK the chest press has to do with me forgetting to set the height of the seat, it's supposed to be set at 6 for me and last night it was 3 because I forgot, so I was doing it on a weird angle. Anyone know how I can increase my recovery so I don't go backwards each time I go to the gym? I am on a strict budget because I'm a uni student, I get $50 a week to eat with, but I spent extra money tonight on tons of pasta and tuna for extra tuna pasta meals, it's the only thing I could think of to get me eating more calories and protein and for a cheap price. Also, what's the go with the spewing? It may have to do with me not eating, each time I have gone to the gym, I've had barely anything to eat. The first time I had a tin of tuna and a glass of milk for breakfast and the second I had nothing all day except for a subway footlong. Will eating more and drinking more fix my issues?? I used to be a fair bit bigger because I had a home gym, but haven't had access to a gym for a long time and I "deflated", even though I've only been twice, my chest seems to have pumped up heaps more. Not sure if it's muscle memory or whatever, but I believe the program will work if I eat enough. Is there anything you guys would add to my workout? Cheers

Does anyone have a savage flux they'd trade for a sick 1/8 truggy set up? If you're interested, let me know.
