How Bad Are These Afr's?
kawasakirider replied to kawasakirider's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thanks for the advice guys. Hoping to push 14psi or so through it next week and get around 230kw. -
Hey everyone, my car is tuned like shit at the moment, but it's going in for a tune next week. I've been reading up on AFR's and it seems at idle it is really lean. Could this explain why it's hard to start? Would you guys advise not to drive the car too much before it's tuned? The car is a Z32 TT.

Yes stock boost and ECU. He has an adjustable FPR to go on. So he's hitting the fuel cut of the stock ECU, is there a limit that he can wind it up to without hitting that fuel cut? Thanks for the advice guys. And who knows mate, I might just tell him to wind it up as much as he can and then convince him to get a high flow through you, haha! Jokes.

Hey everyone, my mate has an R32 GTS-T that has been experiencing some problems. In first gear especially, when it gets to 4,000 RPM it completely shits itself and feels like its hitting a wall. That's the best way I can describe it. The only thing that has been done to it is a turbosmart boost tee. I think the problem may lay here. Not sure of what it could be, but the car doesn't seem (to me) much more powerful with the boost tee. I may be wrong. One of the lines we fitted wasn't a turbo smart line, it was a slightly bigger one because it was in an awkward position and the turbo smart line didn't want to go on. The line is held tight with a zip tie but I'm out of ideas so I'm just thinking about it... I am thinking that maybe in first when the turbo spools quickly, it might create a boost leak with the line sliding down the nipple because it's not tight enough. Is there anything else you guys could think of that would make the car behave like this? How much of a power increase could be expected on a stock GTST with a boost tee? Thanks in advance.

I need another 360. Forza is the only car game worth playing.

Hey everyone, my mates drivers side window on his GTST will go down; but it won't go up. The only way we can get it to go up again is to open the little black box up and press down on the little resistor to make it go up. On the switch end of the loom, we can cross wires (without the switch being plugged in) and the window will go down. However, we can't get the window to go up by crossing wires. We've tested continuity with a multimeter and none of the wires are broken, so we're stumped. I've tried searching, but I can only find info about windows that don't work at all, and this isn't the problem. Any advice is appreciated.

Went For A Blue Slip Today......
kawasakirider replied to niknac's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
They're taking you for a ride brew. Had the same sort of pricks try to do the same thing to me in QLD, find a decent bloke. -

Hey everyone, a mate of mine is after a 33 gtr rim to replace one that was smashed on the highway. If you have a single 33 gtr rim in good condition send me a PM, we're located in Brisbane but he's willing to pay for shipping for the right rim. Cheers

{Bne} School Formal Hire Or Lift ?
kawasakirider replied to winner35's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Send me a PM. My mate has an R32 that he'd probably drive you around in if you came to a hire arrangement -

Where did you get it up to 200? And no offence but I don't believe it gets to 200 easily once boost hits. A mate of mine just picked up an R32 GTST in awesome condition and it took like 11 seconds to get to 100, haha.

Skylines aren't that common. My room mate hates them because he thinks they're so common, yet he drives civics, which I see a shitload more than skylines -.- ...

P Plate 125Kw/ton Exemption
kawasakirider replied to kawasakirider's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Black people are allowed to say the n word, brah. -
I disagree a bit. A mate of mine just secured an absolutely immaculate 32 for 6k with 90xxx km's. I trust the KM's too, the car looks like it has barely been sat in and the whole car is really amazing. It was imported in 1998 and I think it sat there without much interest coz someone put an uleh kit on it and painted it a weird orange. Much easier to change the kit and respray it then to go through the BS that I've done with my car, though. Still not complaining with my car, it was a bargain.

Hey everyone, I know this has been done to death and will probably attract a bunch of awesome replies that are in no way relevant to my question, but I'm gunna ask it anyway. A good mate of mine has just put down a deposit on a Type M 32 GTS-T and I'll be driving it home for him tomorrow. As a lot of you may know, the laws have changed in QLD recently. They now state that a p plater may drive a turbo vehicle if falls under 125kw/ton. What he wants to know is, what does he have to supply to qld transport to get the exemption? There was a bloke selling his 180sx on here who had an exemption due to the new laws, so if you're reading this and wouldn't mind chiming in, we'd be appreciative. There are no legitimate stats from Nissan that I can find indicating power to weight, so I'm assuming it may be a matter of weighing the car and giving that info, plus legitimate info on the 20det's power output to qld transport. If someone with experience regarding this could lend a hand that would be sweet. If not, we'll just remove the turbo or he can drive it without an exemption, because insurance and the law aren't really important (just kidding). Cheers

Haven't seen this for ages. The car was passed by someone else, these pricks were scammers. They wanted another fee for a second inspection, so I fixed what needed to be fixed and got it roadworthied elsewhere. The car has been registered for a while now and I haven't received any letters notifying me of cancelled rego. In any event, I have the receipts for the repairs, so if qld transport do cancel it, I'll have no dramas getting it back on the road.

Nissmore, I'll give you a tip... Less is more.

Ok, here is why I've had 4 iPhones... I had one with Telstra, the plan was shit so I gave it to my mother and got another one on Optus. If you can count, that's two so far. In a rush, I stupidly left the Optus phone on the roof of my car and it got ran over multiple times. When I found it on the road an hour later, it still worked. The third one I got from apple which was a refurb to replace the one that was ran over. About a week later, Optus rang me and said I could upgrade to a 4S for free if I extended my contract. I've been happy with Optus due to their value (although I'll concede that Telstra has superior service), so I chose to extend the plan and got the 4S. That 4S brings me to my fourth iPhone and the refurb from apple was sold. I dropped every single one multiple times, once my gf grabbed me a pair of shorts off the table that I'd put my phone on and she flung the phone across a room and it smacked onto a tile floor, no damage. The only damage on any of my phones (apart from the one that got ran over) has been around the silver band where it has been chipped from concrete. I never said android was complex, I said it wasn't seamless and didn't work as well or feel as polished as iOS. PC's die and get slower, my Mrs' mac book pro has been going hard for years without a drama. I don't have a mac so I'm not a fanboy, I just know how well they work.
