  1. Wherabouts are you located?
  2. Just a quick Question guys, If I allready have a 3.5" Cat-back exhaust +3"High flow cat+ 3"Dump+front pipe (I think the neck/flange of the front pipe is 2.5") would there be any benefit upgrading the cat, front and dump pipe to 3.5" as well? this is on a RB30+HKS2535 (I know I know, its too small, say for future upgrades GT30R or GT35)
  3. What kind of fabrication did you need to do? Did you need a spacer plate on the manifold? (assuming you are using stock manifold) Did you need to fabricate new dump pipe as well as oil/water lines?
  4. Since this event requires CAMS level 2 license... is SAUWA a CAMS-affiliated car club by any chance?
  5. I'm interested in the Feb11/18 events, sent an e-mail to the above address. Would like more info on what is required from both Car and Driver. How many spots are left for the Feb11 event? cheers
  6. No luck here either Tried to fit a Tomei triangular brace over it, The extra height is pretty obvious
  7. How did you mount the fire extinguisher on them? just cable tie? and I have the do-luck one in my R33, they mount to the seatbelt bolts be carefull because theres a few different models, if you get the wrong one you might have to drill a hole on the mounting plates to match your seatbelt bolts
  8. HKS Kansai and J's Racing is not in Tokyo, its in Osaka/Kansai region, I made my way arround by asking the hotel reception as well. Got the map or address and they pointed me to the nearest station, sometimes after that I just take a taxi if its too much of a walk. As far as workshops in Tokyo are concerned, I know Jun and Spoon Sports are only a few stations from Shinjuku. Top Secret is out in Chiba, probably should take a taxi from the station for that one. C-West, and Veilside are arround as well I think, but you are going to have to check their website. Ill probably just have a visit to Crystal and Upgarage and be done with it. BTW. why does everyone recommend the upgarage in Chiba? arent there a lot of them arround Tokyo?
  9. I just went to visit J`s Racing in Kansai man it was awesome! tried to go to HKS Kansai Service but found there was no nearby train station damnit, visited 3 secondhand autobacs and going to 2 more not as good as I have been led to believe ahhaha but still found some rare stuff... like a full titanium exhaust including front pipe for 49k yen (albeit for DC5 integra) Bride Brix II in leather goes for about 70k yen which i thought was a pretty good price cant wait to go to Top Secret and Nismo Omori factory, hope they spoke as good of an english as the guy who gave me a tour of j`s racing
  10. here is my jap mobile 090-9621-7318 the phone is shared between us so just ask for Senna if it isnt me answering the phone... going to a few secondhand autobacs in kansai for the next couple of days, any advice which one is best? oh can someone post a detailed directions to crystal and upgarage in chiba, pls? I got some from the forums but was wondering if anyone could do a more detailed one
  11. Yeh, this is pretty long holiday for me, spending 5 nights in Kansai, 3 Nights in Sapporo, finishing off with TAS and 7 nights in Tokyo. So got time, and want to squeeze as much as possible in. Want to leave the clubbing till tokyo, bought a guidebook, recommended a club called Ageha, any thoughts?
  12. Being stereitypical AZN, me want techno/R&B clubs ahahha Just want a fun night out and have drinks with friends in Tokyo I heard that some places dont let Gaijins in, so could use suggestions from 'locals' Im actually staying in Shinjuku close to kabuki-cho oh and maybe someone here would know.. Im getting the impression that quitet a few ex-pats live in Kobe... so... wats there to do and see in Kobe or arround Kobe?
  13. no worries, I'll PM you next week when I get to Japan, yeh me and erik are perth boys. some local knowledge of Tokyo couldnt hurt hahah, got and recommendations for clubbing, Rezz? want to see tokyo nightlife would be great if we could meet up on the Friday session, prep us on wat to expect on the saturday TAS
  14. I'll PM you with my japanese numbers in a bit Rezz, But doubt I can control my contigent let alone integrate it with those coming from SAU hahaha bunch of Honda boys they are, what details would u need? Would be nice to meet up with ppl who know the Japanese car scene better than us, lunch time is probably the easiest. We're also planning to come on the friday, but since we cant our hands on press passes, guess we'll just have to come for the afternoon session.
  15. I dont mind to meet up at lunch time on the Saturday session I'll be in a group of 8 so its hectic enough to organise it'll be me, lukits01 & eriktufa from the SAU forums we'll both have Japanese mobile numbers by then (we've rented jap phones) Wouldnt mind getting some suggestions from you TAS pros, who should I contact? and how?
  16. I was thinking that, would explain my current problem RB30+2535 Though I am enjoying the instant boost and response But Im wondering how the GT3037 compares to GT35 compares in terms of response
  17. I've been looking for the HKS3037 kit for sometime, this seems like a good alternative, any estimate on price? Im guessing external gate version only? Was planning on using it on a street RB30, aiming for response and flat torque delivery, too much power just overpowers the the street tyres. I know you recommend this for RB25, how do you suppose it would perform on a RB30?
  18. yeh I got a 2535 on my RB30, spools pretty fast and drops off just as quickly and thats with HKS cams too dont know what RPM the power started to drop off tho as my dyno sheet was in KM/h not RPM but on my RB25 power peaked at 155-159km/h and on the RB30 it topped at 145Km/h this is on an Auto R33, if someone could convert that to approx. RPM that would be good
  19. I have a floor brace in the rear footwell What do you guys think if I mount the rear of the harness on that? too much angle?
  20. Hey SK, interested same as above delivered to WA Are the swaybars you offer modified from the whiteline specification? or are they the same if I order from whiteline? Interested in the adjustable ones regards lukits
  21. Im about to attempt to fix on my rear pods, just wondering if people here have suggestions how to apply pressure on the rear pods while the sikaflex sets in? And how much prepping do I need for the surface of the panels and fibreglass?
  22. With regards to exhaust manifolds... Its written in the guide: In order to bolt up the exhaust manifold of your choice you must grind down the water galleys protruding lumps that run from the front to the rear of the block. They must be removed as they foul the exhaust manifold. does this apply to stock exhaust manifold as well? silly question, would it work if I grind down the manifold instead of the block?
  23. As far as I know both tyres are not for sale here Ive enquired about getting some 255/40/17 RE01R from japan once and it worked out to be something like 2k
