  1. Seriously dude, doesn't mean shit unless he's worked on an NM35 or VQ25DET before... so far he's shown that he doesn't know the FCON V Pro for the VQ25DET is going to be a piggyback setup. Not sure if that's a good start. I mean everyone's gotta start learning somewhere...you can do ECU swaps but you'd need to import them from Japan. Nismo/GZONE/Impul...
  2. and I thought I was spending lots of $$$ on my car...
  3. Just give her your car if she needs an auto Take her 350z install HKS turbo kit win
  4. LOL yeah right...says the man who was shopping for a 350z on the weekend
  5. was tempted to get that HKS kit but luckily Scott talked me outta it and saved me some $$ On a side note, these arrived today:
  6. Ok been driving all night...gas does feel a bit different. It's smoother but less punchy then pulp. Not sure how to describe it.. Found they f*kked up the filler cap install. Theres an hole drilled nxt to lpg filler and under the petrol filler. Looks like a failed attempt...grrr
  7. Bang for buck? Get a c34....
  8. Lol yeAh look I don't know if he was bluffing or not...I wouldn't think our cars are different.
  9. oh...and part of the hiccup with the install was Sage222's car being newer then mine and apparently the coilpacks were different and hence they needed to work out another way of installing the jets. Yours is 2002 Sage?
  10. yeah just came home from Frankston. Car runs great - its a pretty neat install. ASked about upgrading petrol injectors and he said you just need to unbolt the fuel rail and move the gas jets out of the way. Ended up paying the original price of $4700 - no mention of extra $$$ needed at all. Pretty happy in that regards. This includes getting my Denso plugs installed for free...lol Original spark plugs didn't look like they were covered in oil...and the guy who changed them didnt recall oil in the plug holes...so I guess thats a plus. Are the OEM plugs NGK? performance wise I can't tell a difference...will need to get it on a dyno and see. There's a button to press to switch it from petrol to gas so that'll be handy. Also with the auto switch over when gas runs out - it'll beep for 5 seconds before the switch takes place... Scott will get a good look at it tomorrow
  11. Did their Moorabbin store close down?
  12. I think they are still trying to find the best gas jets to fit...something that cihan can't do unfortunately...
  13. GODDAMMIT. They did it again. Rang them @ 3pm. They said car will be ready in an hour. I hop on the train to Frankston. 1/2 way there they call me and say "hmmm we need more dyno time to fine tune it blah blah blah, come get the car tomorrow..." FML!!!!!!!!!!!!! They also said they'll be doing more dyno time on a 4wd dyno...I told them before that its a 4wd car....and yet they stick it on a rwd dyno? I better get my car back tomorrow...
  14. Not sure...hope not hmm maybe your right...but either way the car's gotta go back to either Cihan or the gas place... We'll see this arvo *fingers crossed*
  15. yeah I was quoted $4700 same as Sage222. Haven't paid yet but what's to stop the bastards from saying "oh we had to do this and this so here's the bill"...u know typical mechanics LOL
  16. Yeah I dunno, I'm scared if I ask for it they'll charge me for the extra shit they're doing now to get it going.... Plus I'm getting airflow cut @ 4k rpm so it won't be doing any power run lol...

And they don't look like genuine Aero items. Why are they called aero then?
  18. ok so to confirm - new plugs being put in today and it gets put on the Dyno for the LPG guys to tune the mixture correctly. Then these plugs will still be good even after installing 610's for the 2nd tune... Sweet.
  19. Will they get fouled on the dyno? Anyway since I'm going to be putting in larger injectors before the tune, they new plugs might get fouled then since the car will not be running the correct fuel mixture...until its on Cihan's dyno. I'll get another set just in case...
  20. Lol.wouldn't it cost me 150 just to buy the equipment to do.it properly?
  21. Gah...apparently the car wasn't ready this Arvo. I only found out when I was halfway there on the train and rang them up. Apparently they can't get the fuel mixture right so its going on the dyno tomorrow...they better not charge me extra!! They want my new Denso plugs too...that means I need another set for the tune in 2 weeks time?
  22. try RVO in Dandenong? They're recommended on a few other forums...
  23. was quoted $150 to paint this: Cheap or not? includes clear coat... It replaces the grill on my front bar.
  24. hmm no, I haven't modded my ECU. I said that I think the ECU might be dumping more fuel due to the mods (suction pipe, intercooler, exhaust) done to the car... its the stock ECU...nothing added/changed... Oops reread my post...yeah I said the wrong thing
