  1. Which one should I go for for max response?
  2. What's PU profile?
  3. I meant his hiflow SIZE and specs, not his power output....grrrr
  4. Hmm see Stao's response when I asked him about the 3071 core - he pretty much said no? I want what scott's got...
  5. Mate, he spent 6k modding his trans...LOL
  6. hmm ok... in all seriousness though if I get 220-240 awkw I'd be happy. Anything more means gearbox needs to be rebuilt and I'm not ready $$ wise for that. Neither is manual conversion... The potential to go 300awkw with the bush is there....I might just go with that and IF I have the $$ for a gearbox rebuild later on we can always up the psi then to hit higher power... Can someone let me know any specs or size that I need to tell Stao for the hi flow?
  7. ASked Stao about a bush bearing hi flow with 360 washers...$960 Asked him about getting a 3071 core and this is what he said: Well, there is no point going for 3071 CHRA in your high flow as the rear housing of it is already small and our customized will produce more power then the 3071 profile. There will be no difference in response based on factory housings, plus bush bearing is a more relaible setup then the ball bearing setup. The 3071 high flow cost $1550 AUD, you need to change all water, and oil lines to suit that CHRA. The factory housing is not big enough to flow 350rwkws. The max we can that that to is 300rwkws on a manual, Auto will be about 25KW behind plus it won't handle any thing relaiably above 230rwkws. I would recommend you to use our standard high flow option with a high pressure actuator to achieve that goal. Regards Stao hmmm stick with bush bearing i guess?
  8. Sage222 - can you confirm whether you can switch from LPG to Petrol using a switch? If you run out of LPG does it go on Petrol automatically?
  9. nah not yet...PM'ed him and awaiting response. Might call him tomorrow... Can you give me the sizing and all other details I need when getting a quote? I think I'll just get the same size as yours... Craig and Aaron got a 3071 equiv?
  10. Interesting. Their website says that benefits are: 360 degrees Thrust bearing Inconel steel wheel and shaft Suitable for High Boost applications Is the "Inconel" brand good? a bit of light reading here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/261613-hypergear-hiflow-service-continued/
  11. yeeeeeep please do!
  12. Dude that was me...was Aaron driving? I only saw the white car and thought that must've been you guys!
  13. So 13% loss in efficiency for 60% less in cost...I think its a win!
  14. a full set of these went for $1500 on zclub.com.au I was hating myself for not buying them!
  15. Did you do much to the trans apart from the shift kit from RVO? Did you get Cihan to mod the trans via EMU?
  16. gaaarh someone make the next one on a Saturday!!
  17. Stock 18s are +35? Pcd like most Nissan are 114.3 x 5
  18. LOL... this is what he emailed to me:
  19. AVO was listed as a certified JTG installer according the Australia LPG warehouse's site (they distribute the JTG system here). I think I'll go with Seaview anyway, just because they've got some experience with an M35 now. When I spoke to a tech at Aust LPG warehouse they recommended either Seaview or Frankston gas.... According to Cihan who will be tuning my M35, the VQ25DET ECU does NOT auto adjust/learn with the increased Octane. I'll have to take the car back to him for a touch up tune to take advantage of the higher RON. Small price to pay I guess
  20. How's the Economy been? 5-10% increase? I've spoken with Seaview as well and I plan to get mine down by the end of March. Would love to do it at AVO since they have a dyno but their customer service seems crappy (left number for them to call as they didn't know anything about the M35 kit)...
  21. LOL Streeter is a champ. Hmm this sounds all too familiar...about the cutting and the welding. In the end the Legalis I bought was air freighted over without any cuts, so I don't see why you would have to if you bought the same exhaust... The Kaki on the other hand.... Hmm, these were the prices I had for the exhaust when I last spoke with jesse (these are brand new prices) Kakimoto R Muffler - 50,520yen. 1 in stock. box size is 1800x350x450mm Fujitsubo Legalis R Muffler - 67,400yen. few in stock. box size is 1570x620x320mm He did say the kaki is def over the 150cm limit... I paid 48,500 excluding shipping on mine...
  22. WTF - that's freaking CHEAP I paid $1k delivered for mine and it was 2nd hand
  23. same here. I need a set of BC's...
  24. The blitz is quieter then the legalis? Holy cow...I would think the Legalis is probably the quietest aftermarket exhaust I've heard...
  25. Just get a Stateroads check done on the car...they're pretty thorough and knows imports better then your regular RACV jobbies... That's what I did and flew up the Sydney to collect the car after getting a report on it. And its was spot on...when Scott installed the exhaust on my car he said it seemed like it was in pretty good nick... apart from the farting BOV and the rocker gasket leak that most VQ25DET has that is
