Spent about 40k (plus/minus) including buying it (14k)...but that is including EVERYTHING...I have an excel sheet where my latest entry for example is a $4.99 paintbrush that I am using to touch up the tiny spots right near the brake pads that I cant get to with the spray can. Currently working on getting this laminated...... It will go on the inside of the fuel flap thingo under the Jap monster decal...(pics to come) Also....rain expected for the next few days so the front calipers will be done mid next week....stay tuned -

....Yeah they look awesome now - cant believe I didn't do this earlier !! Cannot wait to do the fronts...the back calipers are tiny compared to them so I am expecting the fronts to look a lot sexier... Also cant wait to buy some bright red to do the lettering...hoping it will look something like this (HAHAHAAA) -

It did...but I decided that the factory off white looks too boring...so once I finish all four I am going to hand paint the NISSAN bit on each a bright fluro red. Gloss black caliper and drum with bright red writing...should look nice I daresay. -

Brake caliper painting day............................. Had to get the subwoofer and carpeting out to take out the jack... Started with the back left.....(wheel nuts were bloody stubborn on the front - so will have to get a longer breaker bar or some WD40 tmrw) Took off the wheel Gave the brakes a good clean with brake and rotor cleaner Covered and patched up everything Before pics Yo man (with a thick Jamaican accent)... Designer stud covers !! Patched up and ready Remembered to rub some vaseline on the NISSAN bit...hope it works Came up quite good I thought..... Also before I forget...special thanks to Jonno for coming to help and for bringing tools...............your awesome man -

Thanks Daniel This is what the car is running at the moment.......we did pull 352.9 Hp (road) after running more timing etc..but its too dangerous with a stock head gasket and internals....and I dont really want to break anything for the sake of being a dyno queen and a few different digits..the power curve is nice and linear...and I like the way she comes on now...so yeah -

Well I am open to suggestions etc...this is still a "finding my feet" stage....BUT I dont like the stretched look....I prefer tyres that are nice and chunky....and tyres that run a sidewall right up to the edge of the rim..if you know what I mean.... So I want rims that run flush up to the guards...but do not stick out (must be fairly legal)....and tyres that are nice and chunky and do not rub....so yeah basically biggest rims that would allow for this ^^^^ is what I am after. NOTHING BEFORE mid July though......birthday boy -

Wont that require a lot of guard work?? I am not a fan of the stretched look....so want tyres that sit flush basically...right up to the ends of the rims if you know what I mean...also what about rubbing on full lock?? -

thinking of getting work meisters sp1 3pc wheels.....want to run 18 x 8.5 +29 fronts...and 18 x 9.5 +24 rear....is that ok for the rear??? other option is +37 THANK YOU -

OK I NEED ADVICE from all the wheel gurus....... Plan to go with ^^^^ 18 x 8.5 fronts +29 18 x 9.5 rears +24 My big concern is the backs will stick out too much?? Thoughts?? The other option is +37 so no inbetween for the rears. -

Michael scan that book and PM "on edge" a little teaser every day..hahha.....but on a serious note....thanks for sharing...interesting to know. And in other news..................... Damn thunderstorms and rain have put all painting on the back burner...... so not expecting any "developments on that front" (see what I did there) The car is really nice to drive now with the new tune................tested the high boost setting the other day and "its awesome" would be a polite way of describing it. For all those people who think their tune is "slightly off the mark"....it probably is....the weather plays a big role it seems....and I can vouch for that...tune in summer and tune in winter.....A LOT DIFFERENT. Anyway I am happy..she comes on strong....runs beautifully even on cold starts etc...and sounds awesome on full song. Have really been spending a lot of time researching rims.....I want work meisters but cant justify buying them at this stage..so more saving involved or I will have to find an alternative. Going to go to Vision R for some trial fitting soon...will post updates. Oh bought and strategically located an airfreshner thingo this morning.....dont want the car to start smelling with all this damp and cold weather we are having Stay tuned.................. -

^^^ Have you got a pic?? Coz if that is the case....i was duped - I had/have never seen anything like it before...and the place I got it from (Autoworx) made two...one of which is on mine. (I paid 275 big ones for it..so either way I am quite happy - but seriously hoping its not a replica coz I get a lot of envious comments about it) The ones I have seen (they are really common - factory option??) have two ridges on the middle...so there is "what seems like a big chunk" missing from the front under the intercooler...so I didnt want to go that route..wanted something that protruded enough to create a nice lip effect but that was even all around...if you get what I mean

Had a lovely tuning session this evening...nice and cool......and yeah she performed very well. First up a big thank you to Tom and Richie @ PZP (you guys are awesome) Few pics.............. New LED dash bulbs look nice................. Plenty of fresh air PLENTY of flames .....and a couple of hours later....................... Two boost settings.................... 12 psi spiking to 13 psi for everyday driving........319 @ the wheels..... 18 psi for the high boost setting.....352.9 @ the wheels..... Tom was reluctant to turn up the boost (even though the car was responding well to more boost) because of the damage it might cause to the standard head gasket, valves, springs etc...which I thought was a fair call and which I am more than happy with....(because I am no dyno queen) 260kw for the street is just about right for the street in my opinion and the car runs like a dream....very smooth....and torque curve has improved quite a bit.....so yeah.....happy days
