Said it before..and I reiterate...I love that blue 33 ^^^^ Partly because it has the same sideskirts as mine and partly because it has the wheels I have always wanted to get as my spare track set
-
dude.....just buy it.....your goin to argue about what everyone says anyway......(by the looks of it) SO IN MY OPINION....DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY IF YOU THINK UR GOING TO BE FINE WITH BUYING IT>>>>>>>>>> BUY THE BLESSED THING... if not...then dont waste time n settle for something different.... each of us are different and we all have our preferences.....would I sell my 33 gtst and buy a GTR....NO WAY...see thats me....there will be heaps who think im mad.... BUT DO WHAT YOUR GOING TO BE HAPPY WITH...five mins / five days / five years down the line your going to have to deal with it...not us on this forum... Every car is going to have problems....no matter how old it is or how much it has been driven....yes there are trends...and patterns...and certain things are more prone to breaking etc.... but you do what you want to do...Im not saying asking for opinions is a bad idea...hey its a great idea....but just remember...you are going to be making this decision...and you have to live with the choice SORRY IF I SOUND ALL PREACHY....im just saying...coz I have learnt to deal with things my way and have learnt one thing.....you do what you are comfortable with...not what 20 odd ppl tell you on a forum....my 2 and a half cents

Lots of D.I.Y tasks lined up and shes going to get a good cleaning once I get her back I labelled all my cleaning stuff and sent all the cloths for washing (gettin three new ones tmrw)....This is a pic of most of my stuff...missing some microfibres and the sponges and buckets etc..but that is pretty much it Think I need to myself from buying cleaning stuff now.....I am getting too OCD !! hahahaaaaa Just realized the shelf tilts to the right !!! -

Injectors are all good now Thanks Steve for a job well done....... 5 out of the 6 were seized up ...probably from the lying around for so long etc...however I did get a good deal on them so not exactly upset.....also I now have the peace of mind knowing they are flow tested, cleaned and in "mint" condition. Shes being tuned Monday and if everything goes well I will have a dyno sheet to put up soon This is my ride for tmrw......(sigh)...... -

Was hoping the "100th" reply would be a good one...but no such luck.....because the injectors had other plans sadly The car wont start !! not even a tiny splutter / cough...nothing......would have been tempted to say the injectors were just dirty and needed a clean..but im kinda getting the odd feeling one or more of them is Swapped the old ones back a number of times and started up perfect everytime !! So definitely not the electricals / wiring etc... ANYWAY The injectors are getting cleaned and tested by a mobile chappie tmrw arvo...hopefully its just dirty and blocked etc. If all goes well car will get tuned on Monday and since I have work that evening I will pick her up Tuesday morning first thing.....FINGERS AND TOES crossed (BTW...im hating all this having to wait to get my car back...it sucks) -

ok im pretty sure that is not rubber......??? does not seem like it...yes a bit of it is missing etc...but thats only on the back.... and if it is it is one hell of a "hard bit of rubber".....oh and I painted the front and sides and they look perfect This was done about 6 - 8 months ago and they still fine...so ??? Also when I sanded them back they dont break up or act like rubber..they act like a solid bit of something....so yeah??? And water does not get in etc..coz I wash my car once a week AT THE VERY LEAST...on a bad OCD week she will go through 3 washes !!! -

Went to the Spoiler Shop today to collect my Gtr wing Was all painted shiny and ready.............so to Greg (@Jonno - I told him about your business and he said to tell you to give him your number / card so that he could give you some work on a regular basis / cross refer etc) These were the things that I saw while I was there........... First up.....a nice looking 350z Then some dude who painted his calipers green Then my car driving in With the old wing Wingless........................................... Had to take off the old clips....(which were stubborn) :spank:and then stickaflex the holes etc..to prevent water getting into the boot later New wing............almost there...any minute now Done..... Half the car wet and half the car dry....... Also got to watch Brendan and his 34gtt and his dad in his 33 gtr race at barbs....and met Capt. Keaton Sparrow and the (black) White Pearl and his mate.... so a good day overall...productive and fun !!! the car now.........and picking up 850cc injectors on sunday arvo..............so stay tuned for some fun next week -

yeah...was thinking on the lines of plumbing everything back into the engine....partly coz I think im soon gonna hate the whooshhhttt sound every time you let off (gets annoying if you drive as much as I do - trust me)...and partly because I dont want leak issues later down the track as well.....BUT....I saw the HKS SSQ BOV stealth edition and its NOICCEEEE black n sexy.....plus..how can I give up on getting a good "blow" .........we shall see...tat is not priority atm though. ALSO update. As of half and hour ago I am now going to be buying brand new 850cc power enterprise (so basically denzo) side feed injectors.... Just need a Z32 and shes back on the dyno soon....for some real fun this time   -

I GOT MY CAR BACK I GOT MY CAR BACK I GOT MY CAR BACK So as you can tell I am REALLY happy.......its been nearly 3 weeks...and boy have I missed her !! Things that were done at the workshop: New turbo bought and fitted - I now have a Gt3076 highflow, new gaskets, braided lines and hoses. (love the look of the new shiny silver braided lines) Splitfire Coilpacks - sfdis005 6xNGK sparkplugs - regapped Changes noticed: She sounds different....the engine note is a more aggressive hum.....the turbo sounds wicked when it spools.....she is laggier and I have to drop a gear on corners near home where I would granny her @1500rpm....BUT she hits hard when she begins to come on boost and it spools up hell quick once its going..and you get a nice little kick !! So to the crew HOWEVER........ I need: AFM - searching for a z32 or will just buy one brand new Injectors - herein lies my weakness.......stock injectors have maxed out already at 13psi....she made 320 on one run but had to scale back as the injectors didnt have enough time to close. BOV - stock one might leak at a later stage.....340ish?? so have to think on the lines of getting an aftermarket one soon. Thats all for now...plan to drive the car like this for a while and when I have saved some more diamond smuggling money will continue "modifying" !! -
-
I had my car towed recently...broke down at barbagallo....and they towed me back and then two days later to the workshop.....all for free...and I have a classic membership....I live in joondalup..so its not too far however.... you can call them as many times in a year and your entitled to 2 tows per problem.... my car is shit low...mention that when you call...and they send out a guy who owns and carries additional planks etc.... it took a lot of back n forth...but we got there in the end... one operator refused to do it..but then again he didnt have the planks..even after i mentioned it on the phone..so i called them..and they sent another truck out within half an hour

GOOD STUFF ADAM looks amazing..i have the same skirts n similar front lip edge (from this angle at least) specs on the wheels?? rim size? offset? tyres? thanks mate
-
Was quoted around the $2000 mark...good value for money in my opinon...good for 350 - 370 at the wheels on a decent tune...standard bolt on....I will prob settle for 350 as I prefer running "safe"....HKS and the Gt-rs range are better for lower end responsiveness but can get quite expensive...also difficult to source here in WA. Yeah I know what HICAS is "supposed to do" and what it is etc etc..just want to kno how it feels driving wise...as in would you lose the back before and find it awkward to reign in.....would you find the correction tough to predict on corners?? Is it a lot smoother now?? How is the power steering?? at low speeds? at high speeds? do you hold lines better?? etc etc Agree on the cheap fix bit...it is quite a cheap mod (if it works)
-
Hey Ricky ...im gettin a high flow 3076 core in mine by next week...will let you know how I go ......if you can wait that long ...comes with water n oil lines...n pretty stealth if its a daily and your worried about cop issues and not chasing crazy power Also explain "getting sick of HICAS".....how helpful is this bar etc?? I have read about HICAS and I know what it is..how it works..how u get the bar put on etc etc...but I want to know first hand experience.

hmmmmm...not too sure about that..but cud it I suppose..hahaha...nah..im happy with it saying nothing compared to saying GTR..but good for you though....lucky Still waiting for turbo upgrade to take shape.....and waiting...and waiting....and waiting (hardly been a week..and I miss my car )
