  1. Hey Guys, Anyone thats interested http://www.cairnsimports.d2g.com.au - our recent cruise last sunday didnt goto badly.
  2. If you want more boost you can get one of thoes things like a mini bleed valve for $2 from the garden section from hardware store. they use them for sprinkler systems. Other than that if you don't have the basic modifications done to your car, exhaust, cooler, pod etc adding more boost down low will proberly choke your engine more ? Jun
  3. I still don't understand what your talking about :uhh:
  4. Might be a fuel cut/overboost protection cut ? Afm's not registering how much air is going through the turbo intil its gone through the intercooler. - so it could be over boosting and no knowing intil its at the afm. But it should do in high gear's 3rd & 4th under load from about 3500rpm. What other modifications are done, Stock ECU ? Stock Turbo ?
  5. All dyno's are different, You will get different reading's on any day due to air temps, calibration of dyno. You can make a 200hp car read 500hp if you really wanted to. The best way is to stick to one dyno to see what your car gains over stock which is what Bill is going to do. Jun
  6. Yes the standard ecu is like that. Some are different to other model's - 95mld is know as a freak ecu as it can get upto 200rwkw's with the right components with it. Other carn't. Other wise you've made a nice gain over stock, the only limiting factor now is your turbo. Thats the reason why it droped off at 15psi as the efficency of the hairdryer ran out at high rpm. Next thing i'd do would be the fuel pump. Then after that look at injectors & turbo. Jun
  7. Sounds like you are getting good traction and have good experience down the strip. What was your 60'fter with the 13.32 @ 103.4 TS ?
  8. Either your dyno read's high or the timing system of the track is out. 14.1 @ 103 mph indicates around 165rwkw's 183rwkw's you should be able to get mid to low 13's at 105 - 107mph - with good traction. wsln33 Sounds like your car is more towards the 195 - 200rwkw mark with 108mph at 13.2. - 2.5 60fter And yes different dyno's can read differently - depending on calibration and air temps etc. Jun
  9. ECU diognostic's Engine check light should flash a series of times 5 fast and 5 slow indicates everythings fine. (55) But i wouldn't trust it too much. We had a car that had a problem of the CAS and it did get picked up on the diognostic's. You can also do the HICAS diognostic's aswel, but that a bit different. And turn it all the way back to return ecu back to normal. Jun
  10. On the other side of your block (turboside) the oil feed down the bottom is for your oil return line off your turbo. I'll have to check the others later for you.
  11. Yes but you will have to change you'r fuel rail and get a resistor pack becuase the GTR injectors are top feed low impedence and RB25 injectors are high impedence side swimmers. So GTR injectors are not a direct replacement for the RB25 with stock ecu. You'll have to get Side Feed High Impedence for direct replacement. You canr't run low impedence injectors with the apexi power fc for RB25 GTST - If you runing one of these. You can pick up a set of Sard 550cc for around $1000 delivered from Japan. In the end you would have spent more money then just buying a set of brand new sidefeed's from japan. Jun
  12. No worrie's mate, I'm cool with the delay's and understand that you are going out of your way to give us this great deal, its just the other 3 pumps which are for my mates up here - they are getting anoyed with me because they are not here yet. - I can see were their coming from. Hope to see the pump's soon Thanks heaps, Cam
  13. Did you check over everything you disconnected in the engine bay. You'll need a timing light to set the timing back to standard. Jun
  14. Such a beautiful car. Times like these you wish the media didnt exist. R.I.P EVLR34
  15. Does it go past 6000rpm or just stop their and hesitate ? and does it missfire when free reving or only under load/boost. Have you tried turning the boost down to see if it goes away. As your coils could be arking the spark out the side of the rubber boot. - their was a recent thread about lighting from his coils at night. - from arking out spark you could check that. Yep the timing might be out set it back to standard 15º with timing light and go from there. And same as what Abo Bob said. Jun
  16. Could be your Crank angle sensor, might have been droped or just could be faulty. If it gets wrose and only miss fire's at a certain rpm its your CAS. Had the same problem on one of our 33's were it would always miss at 3k and would never go over - due to the timing being advanced to much as the rpm goes up and the ecu would put it in a sort of home limp mode. this is at full operating temp though. but when it was still cool it would work fine. the timing was way advanced because it was faulty so the new cas makes it feel like a slug. Could be spark plugs - common thing. Fuel related ? Afm's dirty wire ? AAC valve sticky What RPM is it missing at ? As for the afm's spray them both with brake cleaner to un-dirty any dirty wires. other than that its hard to tell with out seeing the car myself. Jun
  17. Any one recieved pumps yet ? Hey BLakniTE what type of post were they sent via ? - express ? Also was it auspost ? Cam
  18. anti clock wise = advanced timing - on the CAS. Don't set it so the screws are hard up against the cas when turned anticlock wise other wise you will damage your engine. Jun
  19. All i can say is they have some lag, but yes good mid range.N1's are good turbos aswel, It comes down to how much you want to spend and what you want the car for. Jun
  20. You can get a H/C that can be suited for many different power fc's. carn't remember the code number for it. X0014 ? Or you can just get one for your own PFC as muz stated. Doesn't make any difference which one you get and same with price stays the same.
  21. :tomato: woops, I ment GT-SS & 2530 not GT-RS for best response. Jun
  22. If your after response go for the GT-RS or SS the T517z's are a little laggy but the T517z and the GT-SS can make up to 300kw's+ (with a good tune) I'd personaly go GT-SS or GT-RS as the response is really good on them, for the power they can produce. But the price is also expensive! Jun
  23. How ofter does it blow out ? As soon as you start the car or after boost/long driving?
  24. Sounds like plugs or coils could be both. Tape up your coilpacks with duct tape from the top to the bottom on the ruber boot. Might be the plug try BCPR6ES ?
  25. Pressure build up in the sump is proberly from worn piston rings, and on compression stroke air goes straight past them into sump and has to go out some were.... out the dipstick. Are you loosing any oil ? blowing smoke from exhaust ? If that's the case its rebuild time. Jun
