  1. So whats the deal with this thing? (see attachment) Does this thing do much restricting? does it weigh much? should i remove it and replace it with a straight pipe? is my car going to be too loud if i get rid of it and leave the factory muffler (twin tip). whatcha think?
  2. gotta be a minor leak in the engine bay.. gonna get out the suds this weekend (spray some soapy water on the fittings while the engine is running and you will get bubbles if its leaking). I actually get 14L per 100 on the freeway! wrapped about that.. though urban is shite! Though filling up at 51c per litre i cant complain!
  3. hmm interesting.. let me know how you go on the dyno. my car is kind of the other way round.. on cold mornings less than approx 7c on cutover it will almost stall and sometimes does.. on hot days cutover is much better and pretty much seamless. i took it to the snow a month ago and to avoid the issue i simply manually cut back to fuel before stopping the car.. then drove it for about 5 mins before manual cutting back to LPG.. All in all i am very happy with the LiLPG car goes real well only criticisms is i only get about 230-250's per tank (all traffic) and i get a gas smell when i use the heater.. (need to take it back and find the leak). But all this aside i want some more grunt!! bleed valve is coming going to set to 1bar so that might tie me over for a bit

  6. while we are on the topic of emanages.. do you have to run the ultimate on the m35? is the factory tune aggressive at all or very safe? considering i run LLPG injection and an exhaust i am trying to work out if its worth my time putting one in.. how hard is the install and tune? the only other mod i am interested in is high flowing the turbo when and if it dies appreciate your help.
  7. hmm.. so there is some sort of limp mode enacted? thats odd.. i might just solder on some connectors so i can rejoin it if required.. the ECU is mounted vertically on the wall of the chasis by the passengers feet isnt it?
  8. we need to change the title of this thread to "fixed the slow takeoff issue!" haha so on a normal car like mine.. and someone who isnt really interested in stalling it up are there any gains from this mod if you just like to nail it off the line?

  11. i currently have the aero bar with the fog lights section blocked out. id love some fog lights for it.. really i dont even care if they work or not.. i want them for aesthetic reasons! keep me in mind if anyone is placing an order!

  15. yes i know bigkev though it does hold the gear until you manually change up and i can count will have a look tomorrow at the core pipes i really hope its that easy!
  16. nah its not 5th i have confirmed it happens in every gear by driving round in manual.. ironpaw sounds like he had the exact same issue.. come on scotty you must remember what pipe! its almost as the engine isnt seeing the boost..

  18. So i seem to have a wierd issue with my m35.. just doesnt feel right under accelaration and numerous times the speed is going up though the revs are not.. (yes i know slipping is the other way round!) i must admit i am new to automatic gearboxes and this is the first i have ever owned and i might be simple paranoid though at approx 2800rpm and above some wierd shit is going on... car pulls great up to then..though once it hits approx 2800rpm then the engine noise changes to what sounds like air blowing (yes thats very vague) and despite is still accelarates it doesnt accelarate well like it should.. just checked the transmission oil and its running way too much (about 1 cm above the full line when hot).. the oil itself doesnt look too old though it is not the red stuff i was expecting.. so how hard is to change the gearbox oil and filter? i have read Nulon or Matic S is the way to go.. how much work am i looking at and where do i get a filter? (350z is the same i presume?) once again appreicate all your help.

  21. hmm you could be right.. though seems odd even at that.. 5th gear at 80kmh at 12psi still should haul i would have thought.. tho maybe not.. will knock it back into 4th and try again

Just the factory one.. seems accurate enough.. only want to run 1bar so should be fine. while we are talking boost something i have always wondered about.. with my m35.. if i am sitting on about 70-80kmh and put my foot down about say 1/2 throttle (so a decent amount though not too much).. i will see 14 pound tho the car barely goes anywhere.. this is the first turbo car i have seen where more boost does not neccessarily mean more power to the wheels how the f*k does that happen??? though of course if i put my foot down 3/4 or all the way the boost come on the same way though its all smiles.. real odd..

  24. i drove a factory a lot like a boat.. though the Autech handles beautifully
