good point hippy........... guns dont kill people people kill people?? prehaps, but countries were guns are legal have higher rates of shooting........ the government needs to do something about the death rate of p-platers, cause it's not acceptable...........but the question is what?

speed does kill.........it offends me when people say otherwise because so many have been killed where if they were not exceeding the speed limit they would have survived. speed does kill. it can mean the difference between loosing control of a car and not loosing control. if you dont know that you shouldnt have a licence.......

you'd be better getting 3rd party and spending the money you would have on insurance on a really mean security setup...........

it's worse here in the UK......... the only people who drive manuals are either those with Merc's or are disabled i'd love to see someone in a modded (no other sort) twin turbo V8 Soarer with the bumper sticker saying "You got owned by an auto"

shite i think i scored 118 or something (real test, not a TV one) there definatly are individuals that could handle a sports car on their p's but they're not the majority i agree with sky031 when suggests that. i know i could handle responsable drinking at the age of 16 but i agree with the current drinking laws because i know the majority of people that age couldnt.......hell the majority of people ages 18 cant either. a p-plater ban dosent suggest all p-platers are dickheads...........just enough to cause a problem.....

i got my auto licence........took me 3 weeks of learning and about 8 lessons and i got it first go, no errors on the test. auto's should have made most manual's obsolete. I want to get my manual licence once i'm use to driving, for employment resons and if i get into racing. it's like anything, practice! do any other auto licence holders get crap of peirs with the manuals like you're an inferrior driver??? or is it just the people i know who are nobs

good points about local manufactures who seem to be slipping the net............. it's nothing personal from the media, they're just trying sell papers/get ratings. Contraversy gets just that. it was 4WD's before and that went out with the tide. just wait till some kid on a bike gets hit on his way to school by a 4WD and some expert to say he would have survived if the bullbar was removed then the attention will shift........ i reckon they should have power caps for p's and as a punishment for people who infringe road rules, drink drivers etc........

i've read in many places that the 1.6 mx5's are very disapointing for the money. but you dont buy something like that for performance, just that you can drive it without a roof! Celica convertable imported is similar money but looks a lot better on paper and there are very few around........better performace (4WS ) hey what about an old skool celica, RWD one.
