  1. just to revive the thread - just fitted an safc2 to my s2 r33, and no go. Trialled it when i had just wired in the power and earth and it fired up fine...did the rest of the wiring and the ecu just kept clicking and safc kept restarting......caused by the squarish solenoid in behind the ecu, you can feel it clicking. Disconnected the afm wire and joined them back to bypass the safc, it fired up fine. Set all the settings in the safc, turned it off, went upstairs for a bit.......came back down and now it won't fire up at all, just keeps clicking/restarting??? cut all wires bar the ground and power, and still clicking. At a loss, cause I soldered all the joins, no way they have come loose?? anyone have any suggestions?
  2. hi and thanks for your reply. I have downloaded that manual and it is just related to the general settings for the unit. The data settings are in a separate manual which I got with the safc2. The print in the manual is not that clear to begin with, but i will try and get as clear an image as possible. and no you're definitely not being an a##hole lol, any help is appreciated.
  3. heh, your mum makes a pretty good phhehefff sound when being driven hard too..
  4. just to clarify, it's in Japanese lol. Tried to put the image in my post above but only comes up as an attachment
  5. Got this with my safc2 I just picked up, and if anyone can tell me what it says, I would appreciate it. safc2 graph.pdf thanks in advance !
  6. ok that makes no sense and sounds slightly homosexual....I think I will leave u to it
  7. aaahhha, nautical theme, nicely played there lol
  8. if you did not want to drill holes in it, maybe you could write "star wars" on it, and maybe draw a picture of the Millenium Falcon as well. Many people like Star Wars, and I am sure some of them drive skylines, so you will have a ready-made market there. Alot of people like the Millenium Falcon too. Except for me, because I do not like Star Wars and so would not be interested in buying a heatshield with star wars written on it. I also do not have a car either, although I have been in one once, after I was bitten by a bush tick and I had to be taken to hospital. They discharged me after 7 hours and a tetanus shot. All the best with the sale.
  9. you need something to make yours stand out from the rest of people flogging off crappy stock heat shields. Maybe you could drill some holes in it to save some weight, then you could promote it as a "lightweight racing item" and a must for any serious racer...who is still using stock turbo. I am sure there would be a wide market for this. I would suggest 2 holes to start with, each hole approx 30cm in diameter, and then go from there. Or, you could paint a racing stripe on it. That would look hot and make people want it even though they have probably already thrown theirs away and have no use for it. Let me know how it goes.
  10. well, write a serious post, then you will probably get serious comments. Otherwise...well, you get the picture. But, will leave you to your sale. PS i have decided to use 2 solar powered superchargers so will no longer need the 3 turbos, thank you for the offer of assistance with installation though.
  11. mate it's been 45 seconds and u haven't replied, are u serious seller or not>>>???
  12. well do u have another one, or not?? oh yeah and my 3 turbos too
  13. hey hands off my heat shield. I am now doing a quad-turbo setup, so will need another 2 shields if u have some spares to sell. I have hand-made one out of an old garbage bin lid but still need 2 more to realise my dream. I will also need 3 turbos. I am on a budget so they don't need to be the same sort, prefer they are in working cond tho.
  14. actually i will need another one as well, cause i have decided to do a triple turbo setup, do u have 2 lying about?
  15. hey mate how much u after for this? alredy have a turbo with heat shield but might need another one if i do my twin turbs setup
  16. still for sale, ask those who have seen them in person, they are a very nicely finished item.
  17. good deal. I'll grab em if homeboy doesn't
  18. " I drive up and down a mountain range each day," lol, go the Kuranda hey I would still like to do this, but been paying attention to the bumps more now since I been thinking about it, and man these roads really are pretty rough in alot of places. Need to stiffen it up though, have already scraped my new front mount a couple of times with the car pitching forward when going into some of the ridiculously angled driveways we have here.
  19. tein super streets specs http://www.tein.co.jp/search/search1.cgi?act=ITEM&item=SS&make=NISSAN〈=en
  20. just FYI, I replaced the 5 adjustment bolts with high tensile ones and washers, cost me all of $1.63 at Boltmasters....solid as a rock. Fitted one to my motor today, perfect fit, and runs great, all sales pitch aside, for an hour of work and a few $$ one of the easiest gains ever. $50 plus about $7 for postage anywhere in oz, trying to keep my parts shelf clear lol.
  21. Tein website lists r33 super streets as being 4/4. Thought it was abit unusual at the time, pretty much everything else on there is a split rate. Thanks for the offers of drives, all the way up in Cairns tho
  22. lol, better review than mine...same gears as what I got, the ozsome ones.
  23. Not really. In my 3s-gte motor, when doing the buildup, I used the stock rods but replaced the bolts with ARP items. Doesn't mean the rods were no good or not up to the job, just meant that you could make them alot stronger by repalcing the possible weak point. Kind of the same thing here, I reckon.
