  1. Tell us more mate!!!!! Did you sort the camera?
  2. Mark has already said he's going to need days to get his head around the aero grip. So it works, which is good.
  3. At least it's an Australian mammal lol
  4. great..... keen for feedback on how well it works
  5. Hehe, well there ya go
  6. You'll have to swing by and look under the bonnet won't ya! lolol And testing? Yeah, heaps of em. I see some Japanese guys in pit lane with RX7's now, and the Brissy R35's are there too. There's a gaggle of evos standing around looking boring as batshit as well
  7. Oh and Timmy, Russ was asking if you were coming up? Hitch a ride with Benson if he's still coming ya champ!
  8. I don't have any pics mate, but I've seen some of the cars Roy's referring to. I'm sure some pics will surface soon enough. Good news, Mark, Russ and team arrived at EC this morning after driving through the night with both cars in tow and another dual axle trailer full of body kit and fuel The 34 fits on the trailer with about an inch to spare either side now
  9. haha, that's true
  10. Lucky they're not racing on track against other cars huh! LOL, some of these wings wouldn't last a minute.
  11. Then I suggest someone teach him to drive a manual. If he can't, then ensure his cars are comprehensively insured. Cheers and best of luck.
  12. I have the feeling he's actually supposed to be working?
  13. All Skylines are VERY sturdy and reliable cars. They're also quite cheap to repair as there an entire industry servicing them with 2nd hand parts. Servicing costs are on par with any other six cyliner car. Fuel consumption is also typical small 6 clyinder, although, repairs will typically be cheaper than a similar FRONT wheel drive car. So, all in all, they are not a bad option, HOWEVER, I strongly recommend a manual gearbox version. Your son is at the beginning of his driving career, and if he doesn't master a manual gearbox now, he likely never will. It's my humble opinion that if a person cannot manage a manual, then they do not deserve a license. he has his manual license, and in my opinion, moving away from a manual now is unwise. A Skyline of this vintage is an excellent "learner" vehicle for manual transmission drivers, because they really are virtually bulletproof. *** Be aware that he needs to be expected to get pulled over by the police a lot more than if he drove, say, a Lancer. Especially if he's out and about at night on weekends. So he'll need to behave.
  14. lol, yeah I know you can't make on that light Unless......... helium?
  15. I wholeheartedly agree Snowy, to get both these cars there is an amazing feat, and I look forward to seeing them, meeting, and re-meeting a few of you tomorrow. Ive been told over and over 2nd hand from "a bloke who works at GTA's mate who knows his siter" that the GTA car weighs 1050kg... now that would be a MEGA feat! See ya tomorrow!
  16. I think comparing either to Russ's R32's times is unwise. Russ did a 38 last year, but after the mad rush to get it rebuilt after his big crash @ turn 1 before the event last year, the car didn't even have a front undertray under it, and as you know, that makes the front end a virtual parachute. The amount of braking needed for it to turn into turn 1 was pretty wild. Unfortunately, because there has been such an outrageous amount of time spent on the 34 (coupled with Mark's 6 months off after his first children were born), the 32 STILL doesn't have an undertray under it. It has nearly literally been wheeled out of the shed and servied/washed. I reckon in full fighting trim, that car has a 36 in it. No doubt these 35's will go quicker than that eventually (maybe even tomorrow!), and son of rajab knows what they'll be capable of when completely sorted.
  17. It's truck racing at its finest
  18. Marlin

Yeah they look great mate. I fitted the new A050's to Berry's new 11 inchies on the weekend, they're pretty light too.
