  1. Yeah I said it at the start of last season, seeing them floundering around on full tanks is dissapointing. Their lap times would be easily eclipsed a few other open wheeler categories up until around half race distance I'd bet. I'd reckon even Brisby could give em a run if he had the old 32 on song and there was a promise of grid girl wrist job for a lap led. I'd not considered the difficulty for the smaller teams (in realtion to limitless resourse teams) of getting the setup balanced between full and low tanks, good point.
  2. I reckon you'll sell her no worries, she's beautiful Have you ordered your R8 GT yet?
  3. Oh my golly gosh......... it's all getting mildly insane isn't it!
  4. **cough** Mark Skaife **cough**
  5. .......... well there ya go
  6. Dane, the tight arse in me thinks that a simple solution would be something like utilising the element out of an urn, like this; http://www.boilexhotwater.com.au/birko_hotwaterurn.htm It would be light and using a little enginuity you could mount it either under or depending on element style, within the oil tank. A neat little 240V plug affixed to the tank and just plug her on in when you arrive.
  7. Completely plausible. Will be interesting to see how it alters things post Monaco.
  8. ....... But of course the option is there to run it off the tow car or jump battery.
  9. Would you prefer something 12 or 240 volt? Not much chop if it flattens your battery, or kind of silly if you have to run the car to stop the battery going flat.
  10. Yet it Still breaks?!?!?!?!
  11. Why not just an electric heater element either within the oil tank or external around the tank, ie, a blanket.
  12. When we ran the GTR at Tugga in 2008, we were bound to use Elf as thats what that car, and most of the period, were tuned on. We obviously relied on a 3rd party to fill us roadside, and I remember turning to Tim several times during that week and asking if he was enjoying himself, because that fuel top-up just cost us $500. We used over 600 litres for the event..... at $8.50 per litre. Seems like madness now, but back then, we all used to just accept it.
  13. Even the super duper Elf, which in itself is in my experience superior to Martini and Sunoco, pales when any semblence of value for money enters the equation Troy..... E85 mate. E85.
  14. Baron is caught in 1975. The good Dunlop is DZ03G.
  15. You gave away the WDC for the year Richard's currently watching.......
  16. I went looking for my copy over the weekend completely without success I've lent so many of my cherished magazines over the years to mates but seldom have them returned. I'd love to see it if you happen to stumble upon it, I'm sure some f the young pups here would like a read too. (edit; please tell me my figures were correct before publishing!? haha) Except Nee-san, he needs a holiday. What a KENT act! (just realised myself! lol )
  17. Oops, I lied, there is a very very tiny indentation where the mark is near the reverse light. I noticed it when walking past the bumper this morning. For those who have texted me, yes, I still have the rear bar.
  18. I was dissappointed with MW's lack of balls attacking Button exiting the pits, I reckon he could have had him into the first turn. He seemed to have half a crack, got in front soon after, lost it back again, and then effectively gave up. Maybe I'm being hard on him, but he went down a couple of notches in my book.
  19. Hahaha, nice work Harry, as usual
  20. Massa truly is appalling..... when is his contract up? This year isn't it? Tips to replace him?
  21. Even worse Roy is that f**king appalling Teac ad with Winterbum speaking like he's f**king touched in the head.
  22. SV passing two on the out lap...... not bad for a bloke who "can't pass". MW, ffs, you'd say he missed a gear if it was a H pattern! Lol
  23. Gee mint start by Nando! Epic nuts!
  24. Wholly f~cking animation overload!
