  4. nice work!
  5. found this little nugget of info Quick rego check and that rego matches up to the description given. Apparently it was stolen around lunch time and was last seen heading out the outlet Launceston, with the front bar ripped off. And yes, everyone needs at least two bits of security on their imports, kill switch, immobilizer and alarm, if you don't have them, get them, tomorrow.
  6. Thanks Brian, beat me too it! What's the bet we'll see this in rokeby painted matte black in a few hours.
  7. Why does this keep happening? Quote from Dave.TAS's Facebook.

  11. Yep, I agree with toffy. Step 1, buy a manual RWD car with LSD or weldy for less than $1500 Step 2, get some tyres Step 3, go to a drift practice day. Step 4, rip some skids. Step 5, repeat step 4 until you run out of something (tyres, fuel or talent) Keep drifting that snotter for at least 1 season. Maybe give it some love, see how you feel. Once you've mastered that and can rip a pretty good skid, save up and buy a 2nd hand car that's already proven, you see lots of drift cars for sale for less than $15k that are pretty epic. And I can guarentee you'll get more bang for buck getting a $10-15k drift car than spending $15k on your snotter. Plus you can then lend your snotter to a mate and share the drifting love If I had to do it again that's what I'd do. I spent too much dosh on my car straight up, now I'm to chicken to point it at the wall or do massive entrys.

    Stolen!

Celebrations are in order! Was the thief caught?
  18. the R34 GTT I was talking about is like $12k I think. This one is pretty prime too. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/383322-fs-r32-gtst-drift-car-266kw/
  19. checked your coil packs and spark plugs?
  20. I've got a rb25 with a n1 pump that liked to flood the head. 1.1mm restrictor in the back and block the middle one almost fixed it. Then rb26 cam covers with mines style baffles eliminated the problem. Oil pressure under brakes is a minor concern now so I'm getting a new sump which should solve that.
  21. Here are some more pics too And here is a video
  22. 33s don't have a lot of lock so you'll need rack spacers straight up, best mod I ever did to mine. There is a f**king PRIME R34 GTT with a 3076r and log booked cage on MY105.com I'd get that if I had to do it all over again. That car is ready to rock! I like the why my 33 moves on the track, but I've not had a lot of time behind the wheel and I haven't driven many other cars. in my 33 the pivot point when sliding feels like it's right on the gear lever which just feels right for me. As long as you're not 100% talent free you could drift almost anything (with in reason) given a few hours behind the wheel. I don't care what anyone says. Drifting is the hardest thing ever, I consider my self a pretty OK driver and my lap times reflect as such, but when it comes to drifting, I'm fkn terrible But I'm getting better for every run I do.
  23. That mushy thing is by far the worst bit about my car.
  24. it's still 2m tall without the light on, wouldn't that make it hard to change gears?
  25. I'm not sure how I feel about that....
