I honestly thought sidewayz action was gonna be you tromping it round a corner. That's pretty weird. I'd say when you unplug the O2 you are looking for less of that weirdness and more normality. With the SAFC2 above, they intercept the Airflow Meter. Perhaps the Airflow Meter is your problem. Try unplugging the AFM and start it. It won't rev over 2500rpm but should idle. If it's smooth, you found the problem. Could be DIRTY or contacts could need a resoldering.

Have you cleaned the AFM with CRC? Plumback Bov or Atmo? Stock ECU? Checked for split vacuum hoses?

I can't see it being a problem. The stock hose off the cooler pipe has a small restrictor inside it anyway. Try drilling it out if you want it to be a bigger internal diameter.
