hmmm... AFM is Airflow meter. CAS is Crank angle sensor. Reseting the ECU should only need, disconnect, pump the brake for 30secs, reconnect but you can leave for longer or overnite etc if you wish. Just check for dirty or bent contacts etc... even try jiggling wiring while it's running too. Try diconnecting each coil 1 by 1 and see if it stops it. It will only be running on 5 cylinders at a time but if one of your coils is goosed the chugging shouldn't happen when disconnected.

non turbo still has a Airflow meter yeah? Have you cleaned it? (CRC MAF Cleaner or Contact cleaner) Checked and cleaned all electrical plugs for AFM, coils and CAS? Changed your fuel filter and air filter? Reset the ECU? All good things that will cause no harm.

Ok. Explain this "Chugging" you are getting. Rough idle? Only at full throttle? Only at a certain RPM? Misfire? Flatspot? etc etc...

What car is it in? The part number won't work in my FAST program but it is an older version.

Plugs are now BCPR7ES (unsure of gap) and apparently they use 2 pair of Human Ears, there's to much electrical interference to use their Knock Ears. I will clean all oil from intake pipes including SMIC soon. Anyone know of a good Free Flowing, quietish Twin Tip Muffler? Need one.
