  1. Capital Auto Paints. 18 Isa St Fyshwick ACT 2609 (02) 6280 7313 $30 or $35 a can. Give them the paint code and they work their magic. (Autobarn does it too but they couldn't get mine right)
  2. Ooh... is that a Mild Steel Bellmouth? When you've put it on, you wanna put my Stainless Bellmouth on for me?
  3. You said Flange. *Giggles*
  4. Just get new pads, if needed get new discs but getting GTR brakes is not necessary as you won't be doing any silly driving will you? Standard brakes will be fine.
  5. Photobucket works fine, use the image icon at the top when replying and paste the direct link there it will work. for example.
  6. Yep, full to the Helmet with Bodywash.
  7. I own this one, I'll swap it plus a litre of fuel.
  8. Hahaha yeah... Not sure whos it is but I'd have it in a heartbeat.
  9. What happens if you switch the wires around?
  10. Not a huge turnout by the SAU community but it was good to see a few of our cars and all the other fine pieces of machinery. Morning was VERY Cold and very windy (dusted the cars nicely) but it slowly warmed up and a $4 egg & bacon roll was a bit of a walk but was worth the effort. Great to meet those I hadn't met before and those I had, it was good to see you again! We all had to love the Millenium Jade R34 GTR V Spec Nur and the Maroon Mark Skaife R32 GTR owned by that nice couple. I want their Garage! Didn't get many pics as there was just too many cars to comprehend but here they are anyway. Thanks to you all. The Beetle is exactly like the first car my parents had when I was little and the old chain drive thing was just downright cool. I would drive that Datto Two Hundy B any day.
  11. So far the paint stripping exercise has cost me less than $40. Paint stripper gel and wire brushes. I bought some brushes to use on a drill but they got little use. Hand job FTW!!! The painting of the GTS-t rims was all done with cheap cans from Supercheap (except the primer) but if I do it again, I would use better paint like engine enamel as it should be tougher and longer lasting. OT. I washed my car and drove it to "WHEELS" at the Racecourse. With the wind and dust, it is dirtier now than before I washed it! Show pics of car with rims you want to paint for colour choice suggestions... Black, Gold or Bronze should be good with Maroon though.
  12. Washed and ready!!!
  13. Any other Northern Folks meeting at Mitchell Subway? Be there at 8:30am!!!
  14. Looks like Welsh Bob's Whale Tail. ----------->>> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/420647-my-project/
  15. Yeah I'll go to Subway for 8.30 and hang til you show !!!
  16. Yep, not only that but I hear they have the internet on computers now.
  17. I was considering painting the centers Black but after the enormous sh!tfight I've had stripping them I might leave them as is. I do like the result alot. You reckon I should paint Black or not? Much better than the uneven goldish crud they had when purchased. (SAU Third or Fourth Handies) Crimson Inc. Linea Sports (made by Sparco) I have painted some R32 GTS-t rims before and it was a heap of fun. Not bad result either.
  18. Just noticed none of my notifications are working so I have just reconfirmed them in options. Hope this will fix all my notification woes. When looking for the SAU App, I searched for "SAU" but got nothing, but when I searched for "SAU Community" I found it.
  19. Me but I also don't like the idea of having to stay til 3. Happy to have a look and all, catchup etc...
