You actually got the car weighed somewhere?? What was the exact weight, ive always thought r33 1320kg figure is bullshit personally lol Power to weight ratio is the key dude! Dun matter if the car revs to 5,000 or 10,000rpm.. aslong as you have a good power band (ie v8s from near idle.. say 2,000 - 6,500pm or yours (being turbo) from 3,500rpm to 7,000rpm).

Well they make more power than ur car does... lol Its the weight that holds these cars back, however they are family sport cars and need to be large for this reason, thus they do a fairly good job at offering all the features needed for a family but still having a sport aspect to them (space, tow bars, roof racks etc)! Ford do have a 4l 6cyl DOHC turbo car as well remember... I love my Nissans more than anything, but you cant hack away at these cars as they serve their purpose well. And they make 300kw versions of te 5.7L V8s so they'll introduce a 300+kw version of the 6L HSVs too im sure

Yer but were they the new 6Ls or Gen 3 5.7L? Were the stock standard aswell... For what they are they are ok, just abit pricey as alot of things are lol

GTR injectors wudnt do anything extra power wise as standard ones can do that much power as you proved! Different dynos read differently, some read higher some read lower. Yes advanced timing would play a part, can get you as easy +- 10rwkw as well as other tuning (as well as other things like engine/turbo condition too!).. i wouldnt worry get hyperdrive to service your car and they will check things over and let you know if anythings up dude Lumpy knows his stuff and would let you know if something was up! -

I think you could of asked for an a/f ratio on the side? Most give boost readings, but some give a/f ratios. Some give torque figures... all dynos are different remember dude. His cars doin what 99% of turbo cars wit no boost controllers do so no worries there Even some bleed valves and incorrectly installed/tuned boost controllers drop boost levels down at higher rpm If you have a stock (small) turbo its very hard to keep it at high boost levels at high rpm remember -

Look at the other side of the graph, its ur boost level! Pretty decent dyno result -
With a fuel pressure regulator you maybe able to tickle 180ish rwkw GTR inecjtors go straight into rb20s (444cc), once tuned with the power fc and a bigger fuel pump then its just a matter of turbo choice and boost levels to determine power levels Oh and grab a z32 afm as an rb20 afm will max out around the same time as the injectors, might as well replace both at the same time rather than going back for another tune to put the other one on later!

Ye.. ive seen 140rwkw outta an air filter and zorst. So your reading is fairly low! Your fuel pump should be able to handle 135rwkw and so should your afm however the fuel pump being old may of had it?? A power FC solves most issues

The turbo will be stock for a short while.. but soon will be replaced by the GCG hi-flow rb25 turbo... Hmmm still no real definate answer here peeps, can someone who knows about the whole compressor surge thing help abit more Comments are appreciated guys Atleast wen ur turbo goes mass_iv u have an excuse to upgrade hehe -
Hey peeps After buying a Stealth FX BOV and looking into it, the spring can be adjusted. Obviously so the car doesnt stall or run rough wen coming back to idle, however if its too tight this causes a flutter noise (which we all love) known as a compressor surge. They advice (GFB) to get rid of this or keep it as little as possible as it may be harmful?? Personally i loveeee the flutter noise and was wondering if alot, or abit of it would be ok? Dont want to stuff up the turbo or anything but ive always been in love with the sound.... Also it does note that flutter generally occurs at 2-3,000rpm (dependin on turbo/boost of course) and that wont harm the turbo compaired to the load put on it at 6,000+rpm, making it sound as though it is infact ok to keep the flutter. I know dads r33 does it sometimes and its sweet as, mates 180 is abit rarer but also sounds nice (not as loud mind you). I basically want to adjust the BOV so i can get a nice flutter if changing between the desired rpm for it to occur. Could call it flutter on command lol Change at 3000rpm = flutter Change at 3500rpm = bov Any help on this would be appreciated peeps! Thanks all

Hey dude, long time no talk. Regardless of those figures the r32 will definatly be lighter thats for sure. Id say the power figures would be true as Nissan would of further enginereed the rb25 for the r33 as well. R33s are heavier yes, but your only talking 100-150kgs really, which isnt heaps. Alot of people make them out to seem alot heavier due to them being slightly bigger than the 32 but on paper the figures dont show a huge weight difference. If you can find an r32 rb25de go for it i reckon, pretty rare and obviously you can slot an rb25det straight in there once you gather up the cash!! Thats the best of both worlds Well hope that helped dude... after owning a 180sx both of these cars are roomy which i like but the 33 is slightly larger inside and out. Jaz

mmm its not fair compairing older Jap cars with a new Holden. Try the new NSX vs the new HSV if you want new technology's, even tho im not sure if its out just yet but what a sports car!! lol Someone tell me what the hell is wrong with the v8s gear ratios?? 1st gear lasts foreva and 2nd is over straight away... is that normal?

Car looks awsome... seems like its got an aftermarket intercooler (which isnt listed) due to the piping in the engine bay?? Id finish the exhaust system (dump/front/cat) then put a boost controller on and boost it up to 10-11psi (as much as standard ECU can handle). Then afterwards chuck the power FC on and set boost to whatever you want and then the fun begins of choosin a turbo etc lol

Thats one hell of an awsome set up wit ur makin that power wit those things. That boost holds so damn well... ive only seen it drop right off wit bleed valves. Cars set up well dude -

Im guessin thats 250ish rwkw? If so thats not a bad result... If thats 150ish rwkw its a very bad result and i have no clue why lol -
31rwkw with a tune... fark ud be happy with that if u had done a few mods like the zorst and cooler let alone none! lol Im guessin you got it serviced and you had old foul plugs that werent firing properly or somethin!

i know someone that got done for the clear thing over the license plate that blurs it from 45 degree angles. Always worked on the cameras but a cop did drive past and he went to court for it hehe
