    14psi... 240-250rwhp 18psi... 250-260rwhp (+ or - 10rwhp)? Wouldnt be as much difference in the to boost levels as that turbo wouldnt be able to stretch too much further i dont think?? You should have a very nice mid-range with the cams and once its tuned up though!!

    I know the thread is now 10 days old so dun shoot me But for an rb20, what would be the better turbo? Considering id probably want to push slightly past 300rwhp (say 320ish) but wouldnt want an rb25 b/b 450hp GCG turbo if it was majorly laggy on an rb20!

    Is this the 450hp r33 GCG turbo rebuild on an rb20?? As im looking at doin this myself, but thats abit friggen laggy... Do you have 3' or 2.5' intercooler piping? 3' Dump? Is it split? Just a few things that have some say on lag...

    Yes with that turbo it wudnt be a daily driver!! Thats for sure lol But will make alot of hp and once you learn to drive it be good for the drags itd think Sounds sweet

    i think 90% of people think they look better.. they are a class above, a very hot looking car!!! We all like r33s but they seem abit common, 34s stand out that bit more, id take a 34GT over a 33 GTS-T aswell. Just wait awhile until you can upgrade to the GT-T model then you have the best of both worlds

    Without doubt ur ECU. If you didnt read the above post r33 ECUs retard timing once boost pressure is to high, infact im suprised u can run 14psi without it being retarded! If its running that well be happy lol If you want 18 pounds, buy yourself a power fc or something else as ur stock ECU just wont do it.

    With supporting mods the 450hp GCG rebuild wud go close, maybe 250-260rwkw is more likely though. Mind you its still damn responsive which is awsome, when you go past 250rwkw you tend to get abit more lag and that isnt the best on a street car. Gotta say 16psi at 3,000rpm is pretty damn cool!! And if ur makin near on 300rwhp, well most would be pretty happy with that too.

    lol looking at that a brand new china copy wud be better!! Thats been abit hammered Trust coolers are awsome, Apexi are rare but probably the best from what ive heard/seen!!

    Im not sure personally but this is the general idea ive noticed around the forums. A REAL Hybrid cooler will cost u similar to what a GTR cooler will cost, a China cooler may whistle which piss's ppl off! But im glad u thought it was so amusing...

    go the GTR cooler as it will flow alot better than any Hybrid cooler (unless its very damaged of course!)

    Im just abit confused ere.. ur car doesnt hit 1 bar until 6,000rpm, so the turbos obviously huge but ur only making 300rwhp on that high of boost?? A gt25/30 will hit full boost at 4,000rpm and make the same power on lower boost levels?? What made you go for that turbo, my mate has a car that hits full boost at 5.5k but makes 360rwhp on 20psi.. wud of though if ur turbos that big ud make alot more power?

    Not much in it between Hybrid and the copies... but say Trust or even better Apexi coolers, then you will start to see a difference. This is obviously more noticable when running more power. A standard old r32 GTR cooler will flow better than a new Hybrid one from what ive seen!

    The r33 and r34 turbos are near identical dude... Yes its safe to say ur turbo has alot more in it considering ur only running 12psi!! You can expect over 240rwkw with some more boost easily!

    I just think the rb25 would be on boost much ealier than an rb20 both having the GT 25/30.. hints why they behave alot different. Either of these would be great street turbos for both cars in the end really (in my opinion)
