  1. haha course, but u can get permits to drive it to and from places so work can be done etc! I think permits are $14 from licensing centers. Complaince will take aslong as the person doin it wants to take Ive been offered it to be all done in 3 days! But imports 101 are busy so maybe a week if they have everything they need? Rego etc can be done in a day too. It'll be ready in no time me think!! Hope Danny has been good to deal with for ya, hes a champ and bringing in my car too
  2. rb20 - less compression, less power, less torque, more boost, more rpm. However in a lighter car... so its very similar performance except the r32 will handle slightly better. Brakes is similar as r33 brakes are better but have more weight to stop again.. Do remember r33 parts will be newer than r32 parts aswell, so be wary of anythin on the r32 that hasnt been looked after/changed! Go the 32 all tha way!! Mind u rb25 is a better engine, so mix to two as said b4 and ull have a killa car
  3. Ye nothin to worry about... Ive seen cars makin good power wit 145psi across most cyl's, and urs is way above that! Sounds like a good condition engine to me, not 100% sure why cyl 6 is lower but someone will give u reasons (ie Sydney Kid..) lol
  4. Not a brand dude, heat coated in the same thing the Pacemaker extractors are coated with!! Not a scratch on it, never used and still in wrapping
  5. http://www.pbase.com/jazza_08/image/31513305 Another pic! Poor quality but they are lovley mats
  6. Hey peeps Dont need these anymore as i have Skyline mats for the Skyline.. lol They were custom made and i bought them off a mate! Can find a picture at this address.. http://www.pbase.com/jazza08/image/25181877 They are pretty immaculate. Only asking $70ono Thanks all! Email me or Pm me if your interested, [email protected] Regards Jaz
  7. Eh.. ill take the lot, SOLD
  8. Willing to seperate floor mats from dash mat?
  9. The xr6 turbo was probably more aimed towards the import owners who now needed a bigger family car that had the tuneability a turbo engine can provide! The xr8 lovers will generally always love their v8s so Ford wouldnt change that.
  10. Hyrbid wud be the best just because its going to be brand new, if u got a perfect condition gtr cooler than that might be better not too sure..
  11. Try full exhaust, FMIC and elc boost controller set to 12psi, go check out ur dyno figure and then if u want more get the power fc!
  12. An elc boost controller will happily hold above 12psi dude! However without one the actuator will never get above that no matter what mods have been done.
  13. Why the hell wud u run an rb20 turbo on an rb30det? lol Obviously ull be on boost all the time, but u shud be getting something alot larger for that baby
  14. Actuator regulates the boost level, (ie rb25 actuator = stock 7psi, rb20 actuator = stock 10psi) rb25 turbo is just bigger than the rb20 turbo really.. series 1 r33 turbos are the strongest (but usually are older remember). Actuators generally come with the turbo, if not put ur rb20 actuator on there (or maybe do that anyway...) rb25 turbo = $400 (+ install.. $100-200) FMIC (inc install) = $700-1000 So your looking $1500ish for it all done, if your exhaust is done ull notice one hell of an improvement
  15. Some were made with t2 flanges so they could be bolted straight onto sr20/ca18 engines and some t3 flanges so they cud go onto rb20/25 engines! If u find one thats been on a sr20 u can get an adapter plate to make it a t3 flange, but i heard some problems plus its easier if its goes straight on...
  16. No i agree there, they are heavy bastards thats why! lol However the xr6 turbo can come up with crazy rwkw figures with very little money put into them, mind u they dun look near as good as a 34 and cost more.
  17. As much as i hate to say... A GT-T wud be a fair way behind an xr6 turbo dude! Ive seen an intercooler + exhaust and it came up with 170rwkw, from what ive seen xr6 turbos with exhausts get much higher figures than this?
  18. Eh i think thats abit of a high figure.. power FC wont do anything more than an SAFC but will provide much more depth later on of course, if you only have the mods you stated a power FC wud be fairly useless id think... upgrade ur turbo and thats outta the SAFC league.
  19. I dun think thats ignition timing... lol I was told 15 degrees on a lightly modified rb20 will help bring responce up and is still within the safe limits.
  20. Just to let you know its very suitable for an rb20, not too laggy and happy to support up to 300rwhp (on around 1bar?) with a nice phat torque curve. So very suitable for drift too.. its a pretty awsome turbo! Obviously u need supporting mods though
