  1. You can help us run the back track. Your help will be appreciated.
  2. Here's the argument preargued for you all.
  3. Yeah if a couple of people could bring blowers and brooms we can make light work of it thanks.
  4. And another since it got bumped post. I got 250rwkw and Nismo 480cc injectors. They max out sometimes but I have a rich tune atm for all the track work. I have had it as high as 272rwkw at about 98% injector duty.
  5. Things sure have changed. I've still got my old stock ECU with daughterboard lying around somewhere tuned for 480cc injectors and highflow turbo. AFAIK it was the first in Australia - now everyone is complaining about the cost instead of lack of availability. This thread is cloudy with R33 and R32 ECU talk. Getting a PFC tuned costs $500-800 I guess so how is this much different? Can it be used with different injectors and AFM's?
  6. I think 12psi street and 10psi track. I ran 12psi the whole time and blew it at the track. The stock ECU is a bitch at 12psi btw. You might be happier at 10psi without the massive hole in the power curve.
  7. How many laps have you done on them? I've done plenty and I can tell you that you're wrong. My catch can was full after 7-8 laps each session so I had to come in then but the tyres were still absolutely fine. I had these on the front and RE55's on the back. The Federals warmed up quicker but stayed good all day. Pull your head in mate. No one was rude to you and if you apply a bit of thought to the situation you will come to the conclusion that whether they are called semi slicks or not is probably decided by the marketing department of each manufacturer, not by reference to your definitions.
  8. There's a good little road near Goulburn that I like known as Wakefield Park.
  9. I don't think you can defame yourself either... They are what they are. Even if they are the least grippy semi slick, they probably last the longest and they probably out grip plenty of more expensive street tyres. Tyre choice on one level is quite like turbo choice, you slide up and down a scale of: Grip------------Longevity Where you sit on that scale is personal choice. With turbos your scale is: Laggy but powerful-----------Less power but less lag.
  10. I usually tell people it takes 3 weeks +/- 1 week. So you could get lucky and get in just as a batch is going out and make it in 2 weeks but you could pay just after a batch went out making it around 4 weeks. Anything in between is of course possible.
  11. Sure. Stella. They've got it on special at Chambers, cnr Pennant Hills rd and Carlingford rd I think, or is that Marsden rd, $40.
  12. I'm in the Hills. Price sounds good.
  13. I got beaten by nearly everybody. Just goes to show; poor driver + 250rwkw = loser.
  14. I was going to say, "That's Sam" and out of the blue here he is! Long time no see mate. Not Slim? I saw you and I was going to post in here straight away but I think I got distrac.... ooh look a bunny. I'm not a habbit you sheng! Did it have Greddy brakes? If so the owner works in my building I think. I see it regularly. It's not his only car. ZOMG are those clouds in the background?! That's Oz. Plates used to be on his R34 GTR VSpecII. Might be on something better one day...
  15. Thread moved to correct section. There's heaps of knowledge on here Mesut. You will get lost, but in a good way.
  16. There is usually 2 or 3 for people who want to leave at different times.
  17. Probably not in this case. It's a long term - not just about us. If the screamer is muffled then it's not a screamer, it's a separate wastegate pipe. I'll leave the judgement of it up to you as only you really know how loud it is. Basically illegally loud cars can't come. I think 2-3 dB might pass ok but not 5-10.
  18. Super Dot4 is better than Dot4. I'm glad you gave it a good go though.
  19. I think they are old Volks that belong to Smokey.
  20. I was just using the bits a large collection I have of the soap left over at the end of the bar all squished together with a bit of water to make a full set of tyres. Thanks for the pics Grant. Woot!
  21. Enough bike talk. Skylines and friends it is. Should be a big day guys.
  22. The fact is that at the moment we have had shitloads of interest and buggerall paid entrants. We need a lot more people to put their money where their mouth is to make the event viable.
  23. SAU Nickname: Abo Bob Car Make and Model: R34GTT Circuit Name: Wakie Lap time: 1:08.5 Modifications Engine: cams Power:250rwkw Suspension: leaky bilsteins Tyres: old slicks Brakes: G4's Body weight: 1600ish It will be an honour system as proving lap times is rather difficult, so i ask that you are honest. As a minimum laps should be hand timed by a spectator or third party. And please bear in mind that others may be spending considerable amounts of money on the content of the posts Timed with a lap timer and I did numerous 1:08's, even ran a 1:09.09 after it started sleeting.
  24. Well thanks for the McShit and the bomb guys. Thanks all for coming. Good times. Big turnout. Cheers.
