Ok..latest update from Jesse below: "numbers are getting there but now need to go through and find out what people want as I found a few guys dont want coupe lights they want sedan lights which are a different price." I'm not sure how many of the 12 orders are for sedan lights. Looks like we are not quite there yet. Hang it there guys.

You are the 8th person to have contacted Jesse but since 4 people are pairing up, there may already be 12 orders (i.e.4 out of the 8 pax have ordered 2 sets).

Kolossus, sorry but I can't answer your question about whether anyone wants to pair with you in Qld...however, the cost without pairing is approximately $510 (air freight). In terms of payment, we first need to get all 12 orders in with Jesse. Once this is done, Jesse will finalise the quote and respond to us requesting for payment for just the headlights. Once we all have made payment to Jesse (and noting that this may take some time), Jesse will then proceed to order the headlights from the supplier. So to answer your question on how soon payment needs to be made, this really depends on how soon we hit the 12 orders mark. Hope this clarifies things. Cheers, Keith

Guys, Got an update from Jesse. As Shiva said, he will wait for the 10 orders. In the meantime, he advised that: (a) by shipping in pairs, you will save approximately $20. If you cannot find a pair, the price will therefore be increased by $20 for your set of headlights (if this price increase is acceptable, suggest you email Jesse with your order); and (b) if the group buy falls over, the price for a single set of the headlights will be about $100 more. I will ask Jesse for the approximate increase in price if shipped by air and will let you guys know once I heard from Jesse. Cheers, Keith

OK guys, I emailed Jesse today and this was the response that I got from him: this is turning into a bit of a mess. seller agreed on that price IF I order 12 sets at once. so far 3 people have contacted me over a week so if thats it Im not going to get that price. Im starting to hate on group buys so until I get the numbers I promised the seller (and the Shiva said were going to happen) I wont be able to do them at that price. shipping costs are based on exact weight and Im assuming they are 7kg per pair packed. if they are lighter shipping will be less, if they are heavier shipping will be more. also the costs are all in JPY so the AUD amount will float on the exchange rate, AUD is strong at the moment but if it drops the price in AUD will go up. So before we get too excited I think its probably best to hassle Shiva and make sure we have 12 sets that are going to be ordered. I will write to Jesse to advise him that we did have confirmation on 12 sets. However, since Megahowler has pulled out, we are now one short. For those of you who are interested but have not previously confirmed, can you now indicate whether you are keen to proceed or not. I think the best course of action would be for: (a) Shiva to let Jesse know that we do have 12 sets and that he can expect to be contacted by 6 people (3 of which have already done so). (b) Start pairing yourselves up and nominate one of the two to email jesse confirming the order and sorting out payment terms with him. Cheers, Keith

I got a flare with my car as well. What I really haven't seen is a "quake grab bag". Apparently, some cars have bags filled with high-energy biscuits just in case you get stuck in your car during an earthquake.

I can scan into pdf my original service log book for you. Just blank out the services that i have already gotten done and you can use thant as your template. It's all in Japanese though, but you can identify the service intervals.
