  1. Here you go guys... http://www.importmon...9.jpg&title=V35 CCFL
  2. Give Nuwan a call. He is based in Bayswater. He did my double DIN replacement with fascia and kit etc. He also did my immobiliser + alarm. No complaints and more importantly, he knows the Vs (complied over 60 of them) and has fairly reasonable pricing. Tell him that Keith sent you. His number is 0422807393. He can also service your 300GT. BTW, you are welcome to join us for the Meet & Greet on Friday (24 Feb) at Garage Cafe in Carlton. See separate thread for details. Cheers, Keith

Appears to be JDM spec and not US spec.
  4. Yep..really bad storms tonight...all our hard work washing and polishing our Vs would have been to waste! Andrew, your window fixed yet?
  5. Gents, Meet and greet postponed Sorry to do this but I've received some feedback that it may be better to reschedule this to a Friday instead to help boost the numbers attending. The meet & greet tomorrow will therefore be postponed to next Friday 24 Feb 2012. Please post up your attendances and apologies for the late notice. Cheers
  6. Ok guys, I've booked the venue for this Thursday. There will be another car club there (the MX-5 club) so lets get our Vs in early!
  7. Ok guys, I need to firm up the booking at the venue. If you haven't done so already, can you please confirm your attendance? So far those attending are: 1) Thinktea 2) Gzklah 3) Stayer 81gsky, ChrisB, Dreadnought, Bolaris and Mayo_85, you guys coming? Opal, if you are reading this, you are more than welcome to bring Zoey down.
  8. Haha Opal...you made it to the forum! Welcome and have fun looking around!
  9. No worries! If you can make it this coming Thursday, pop over to the Garage Cafe in Carlton for a meet & greet session with the other V35s in Melbourne. We will be discussing the next cruise (sometime in early March) Water injection install...sounds interesting...
  10. Gents, We are proposing to kick start a monthly meet for VIC V35/36 owners. Location: Garage Cafe at 221 Berkeley St. Carlton Date: Tentatively on next Thursday 16 Feb Time: 7pm to late For those who haven't been there before, the place has a nice relaxing vibe, good food and more importantly, they allow us to bring our cars in so we (and others) can admire them while we eat. We can shoot the breeze and discuss the route for our next cruise. *******************LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE KEEN SO THAT I CAN BOOK US IN********************
  11. Seriously though, never seen one like this before. Wonder what A/P means (Auto Park?) and where does the arrow point to? No buttons in the vicinity?
  12. Yup. It definately looks like a flux capacitor issue. Check the release valve and make sure it is set to "Open".
  13. Guys, It was a good run today. Thanks for turning out and I hope all of you got home safely and avoided the wild weather. Attached are some pics courtesy of Opal. (Btw, I still can't believe that random stranger/wierdo at St Kilda spent like 5 mins checking out the 370z and totally ignored the three V35s parked next to it!) To all of those that couldn't attend, hope to see you at the next meet sometime in March, which will probably be a Great Ocean Road cruise. Before then. we may also have a meet and greet session at Garage Cafe in Carlton. Stay tuned for further details. Cheers.
  14. Of all the places to put it, my tv tuner was hidden under the left front passenger footwell! Noticed a lump on day and decided to dig..
  15. Thanks for the heads up Chris. Hope to see you at the meet, if not for the cruise. Guys, just a reminder that the cruise is this coming Sunday (10:30am arrival). 81gSky is out and ChrisB is tentative but it would be good if the rest of you confirm whether you can make it or not. Interfooler - If you haven't sent your car in for the respray, you are welcome to bring your 'battle scarred' V along...the cruise will take your mind of things and you might get some recommendations from the rest of the guys that turn up as to where to go for a good paint job.
  16. Agree with this. When I got my V35 arrived from Japan, this was the first document that my local import agent provided me with and told me to keep safe. Of course, this doesn't rule out a roll back of the ODO while it was in Japan and before it got to the Jap auctions but that is rare compared to a roll back once it hits Australian shores! Another approach is to do a google of the six digit car model number. Sometimes you get a hit from old listings in the Japanese equivalent of 'Carsales'. I found one which was listed in Japan as a 2003 model with 150,000kms doing its rounds 9 monhts later in Oz as a 2004 model with 55,000kms..same model number...hehe...
  17. Thanks for all your responses so far guys. Please see below the updated details: Date: Sunday 5 Feb Cruise Meet location: Cavell St, St Kilda. The angled carpark strip that runs parallel to Luna Park wall. (Facing the beach, Luna Park wall will be on your left). Cruise Destination: Along Beach Rd, following the coast line to Mornington Pier. Lunch at Mornington. Cruise times: 10:30am arrival. 11:00 am departure. Those who have expressed interest so far: 1) Thinktea 2) Mayo_85 3) Interfooler 4) gkzlah 5) ChrisB 6) Dreadnought 7) 81gSky Come one come all!
  18. Luna park sounds good for a meet up point. Will work out the details shortly. Missed you during the stagea cruise. Couldn't join the cruise but was at the Monash meet looking out for you. Huge turnout by the stagea guys! Hopefully we get our numbers up to similar levels.
  19. Thanks guys! Sheldon - Looking at your Shockwave TDX2s in envy....But the delivery from the States costs a bomb!
  20. Hi guys, Finally gave in and decided to get some decent photos of my V35 taken. Photographer is Clarence Tang based out of Melbourne. The V35 is a series 3 sports package coupe - with the OEM 06 spoiler and 19 inch Rays - Just got it a couple of months ago so its stock (for now).
  21. Guys, Looks like we will have to postpone this cruise. We were thinking of having it in Feb and it will be a Melbourne meet and greet followed by a short cruise down Beach Road to Mornington. Let us know if the tentative date of 5 Feb (Sunday) works. Cheers
  22. Are you sure those are not cat paw prints? I used to get them on my car as the cats would sleep on the warm bonnet during winter.
  23. Cool! Good to hear. Now you can join us for our first V35 cruise of this year on the 15 of Jan! :-)
  24. Ok, no worries. No need to head inland. I just saw that circuit on google maps but like you say, they are usually dirt or unmarked. Cheers
