  1. Yup. Its on tonight. A couple of our Zed cousins will be there..along with one or two R35s.
  2. Thanks for all your responses. So far, we have; 1) Thinktea 2) Yasidi 3) 81gSky 4) Interfooler 5) Dreadnought 6) Stayer Mayo85 and Josh, are you guys coming? (Josh, you still owe me an explanation for standing me up two Sundays ago! ) Chris, you bringing the V36?
  3. Hey all, Please find below the details of our next meet & greet session. Hope that those who missed the last meet can make it for this one. You guys know who you are :-) Location: Garage Cafe at 221 Berkeley St. Carlton Date: Friday, 1 June 2012 (Not this Friday) Time: 630pm to late Please post up your attendance so I can book the venue. Cheers, Keith
  4. Sorry, I was aiming for next Friday, 1 June. This Friday might be too short notice for some of the others. But up to you guys. Let me know which day suits you better..either this Friday or next Friday and I'll make the booking.
  5. Turned out to be a pretty good run. Three 370z and one R32-GTR turned up and the run up Mt DB was clear all the way. No traffic and minimal cyclists. Had a slightly scary moment when one of the 370z ended up drifting into the road shoulder on the way down after some understeer but thankfully the traction control kicked in in time. No idea what happened to Josh though...waited until 9am but he didn't turn up so I was the only V35 there...Hmmm...
  6. Josh, even with 5 cars it will still be a fun run. Plus weather is good so keen to make use of those limited days. See ya tomorrow.
  7. No worries Marie. For those who can't make it this week, can i get a show of hands of who can make it next week end, either sat or sun. Might as well reschedule if its just me and josh plus the three zeds.
  8. Weather update for Sunday - Sunny, with patches of morning fog.
  9. For info: here is the proposed route: Route 4: Mt Donna Buang : Nice mix of straights and twisties – Low traffic area – Icy in winter - http://g.co/maps/48rnk If people are pressed for time, we can do this alternative one instead: Route 1: Toolangi Spur : Fairly twisty – Slightly narrow corners - Low traffic area - http://g.co/maps/4hvwa
  10. No worries. As an update, we will have two 370z coming..Opal and Masuta.
  11. Hi all, Given that our last cruise was ages ago, please see below the proposed details for our next cruise. Date: Sunday 20th May Time:8:00am for a 8:30am start ( understand that some of you have got activities in arvo so thought earlier we start, earlier we finish) Route: Proposing Mt Donna Buang but open to other suggestions. Meetup point: Maccas at crn Springvale and Whitehorse Rds So far, understand that the following are keen: 1. Thinktea 2. Gkzlah 3. Mayo 85 4. Dreadnought 5. Yasidi 6. Alphamox Interfooler and Stayer, let us know if you can make it. Opal will probably tag along if she is free as well. If you are keen and can make it, let us know Cheers, Keith
  12. Spotted white v36 plates gt 3700 outside Nando's in Ringwood. Still waiting for you to turn up to our Garage Cafe meets mate!
  13. .Eh..I thought it was normal for it to be lower a bit on the right..just to ensure that it doesn't blind oncoming cars.
  14. I think that is what it is. I turned it on a couple of times at Garage Cafe and others told me that all it did was turned up the brightness of the leds by a notch.
  15. Alvin, did you manage to get your turn signal lights (the yellow ones facing the front) to remain off while the led strips and the halos are on in parkers mode?
  16. Nah, it was just the new headlights that did the trick... .either that or the LSD on mine (but it was a straight road so I doubt it). Seriously, you musta held back. No way my stock v35 could have beat Zoey's 245kw. Until the next run....
  17. Josh/Marie, This is what you missed: 1) Return of the Interfooler - Better than ever, paint job all done. 2) Visit by our cousin Zeds, led by Majestik in his matte black vinyl wraped 370z with Amuse body kit 3) The Stanceworks guys came in later - First time I've every seen a Mitsubishi Triton truck in the garage cafe with camber - Took up so much space Andrew couldn't get working on his lights. 4) Decoding of what options your Vs came with - I brought the document from Nissan FAST but it was in Japanese so Opal had a good time translating stuff. 8IgSKy apparently had heated seats when it was manufactured but somewhere along the line, someone removed them. (I'll post this up soon) 5) Guest appearance by Brian (G35me) in his H8TAX R35 GTR 6) As usual, we had our Princes Highway cruise back. Thanks for joining us 8IgSKy and Interfooler, even though home was the opposite direction. And Josh, I got Opal at the lights this time for you....[she is probably going to dispute this or claim that she was distracted etc....] Until the next meet, keep safe guys. (ps. I'll set up an EOI thread on a cruise next weekend (weather permitting))
  18. It was a good meetup...hope you all had fun.....good run down the Princes Highway as well..Tony, we left you and Anna at the Eastlink exit...hope you guys didn't go too far down the Princes Highway...
  19. Ok...will be leaving in short while...see you all there...Josh..will try and get a cruise firmed up for next Saturday..
  20. Dush, Congrats on your purchase. I've got an 06 as well...once your car arrives, you are welcome to join the rest of the V35/36 Melb owners at our monthly meets, typically at the end of the month at the Garage Cafe in Carlton. Looking forward to seeing you there. Cheers, Keith
  21. No worries Chris, Hope you can make the next one, which should be end of May/early June.
  22. Ok. Confirmed list below for next Friday. 1) Thinktea 2) Gkzlah 3) Opal 4) Mr. Korvan 5) 8IgSky 6) Interfooler 7) Dreadnought 8) Mayo _85 Andrew, good idea on bringing a toolkit...might not finish all of the cars during that night but happy for you to have a go with yours while we watch and learn :-)
  23. You can identify this so long as you get the 6 digit model number (i.e. the CPV35 - xxxxxx) from the auction sheet. Use this link to input in the 6 digit number (in the following format CPV35-XXXXXX) in in order to get the Nissan Fast 18 digit code. http://jpcenter.ru/month If the 17th digit of the Nissan Fast code (second last) is a D, then you have LSD. If it is a dash, no LSD.
  24. Not that I am aware of. There was some talk a couple of years back about designing an SAU logo with a V35 division below. Some designs were tossed around but nothing finalised.
