  3. Hi guys, Now that we have settled on our next garage cafe meet happening on Friday 30 March, I though I'll throw around some proposed dates for our next cruise. Please vote for your availability over the dates specified in the poll above. Note that 7,8 and 9 April is over the Easter Weekend. I'm in the midst of preparing a database of cruise routes and this should be up shortly. Cheers, Keith

  6. Hi guys, Did this run last Sunday. Thankfully the weather cleared up and we had a bit of sunshine. See attached pics. Roads were as twisty as ever but a little slick from residual rainwater so couldn't push as hard as normal. Traffic was good and clear. We bumped into a Ferarri, 2 R35s, 2 911 GT3s and a Silvia doing the same run as well, but other than that, no slow 4x4 hogging the road. I'm thinking of doing this run again this coming weekend, considering how the weather is supposed to be much better. At this stage, I'm free on either Sat, Sun or Mon (10, 11 and 12March). Let me know if you are keen as well and perhaps we can put together a spontaneous mini-cruise. Cheers, Keith
  7. Hi Shiva, Thanks for all your work so far. I have series 3 (bi-xenon lights). Can I trouble you to just double check with Jesse that the series 2 coupe lights are compatible with the series 3 coupe lights. Shouldn't be a difference but wouldn't mind a double check. Thanks, Keith
  8. Spotted a white V36 at the intersection of Warrandyte Rd and the Ringwood Bypass on Sunday arvo. Tooted my horn and got a wave back!
  9. 81gSKy...I think it is time to change your name to 81gzorst!
  10. Actually, some of the other zeds are having trouble getting up as well, so we have shifted the start time to 10am instead of 8am. Let me know if this suits better.
  11. If we start on schedule at 8:30am, we will be at Healesville around 9:30 to 10am.
  12. Tyler..sounds like a great idea. I'll start a separate thread and populate them with the routes I know off. With regards to the garage meet, aiming to keep them on the last Friday of the month.
  13. 11: thinktea: Chrome housing, coupe model please.
  14. No worries Tyler. Let me know your availablity dates in March and we might either do another run or postpone this one. Same to all of you other guys....if you like the route and are keen on a cruise but the date doesn't suit, please post up your availability dates in March so I can get one organised. Cheers...
  15. Hey all, Are you guys ok if I block off Friday, 30th March for our next meet & greet at the Garage Cafe? Let me know...cheers!
  16. And guys, the website that I used to figure out your build dates is jpcentre.ru. Go to the month of production section on the left column. Great site that gives you access to all of the JPN auctions. Used to be free but now it costs $10 per month to access.
  17. Hi guys, Thanks to all of you who turned up at the Garage Cafe last Friday. It was good fun and I'm looking forward to the next meet. In the meantime I'm proposing a mini-cruise this coming Sunday (4 March). The route is set out in the link below and has it fair share of twisties. The best thing about this route is that if we start in the morning, we can stop at Healesville for coffee and then decide if we want to do more twisties..in which case we can do the Black Spur...and if we need more..we can do the Reefton Spur...and if we still think our tyres need more punishment, we can do Mt Donna Buang down in Warburton. http://g.co/maps/4hvwa Opal will be inviting some Zclub members as well so it should be fun with hopefully some 350z and 370z in the pack. Proposing to meet up at 8:00 am at the new McDonalds just off the Ringwood exit for a departure time of 8:30 am. (Note: if this is too early for some of you, the early birds can meet up at Healsville to continue to cruise). If we just do the Toolangi spur stretch, we should be done in 2hrs (without stops) if you are pressed for time on that day. Hope you guys can make it... Cheers, Keith
  18. Congrats on the stagea purchase and glad to hear you are keeping the v36!
  19. I booked it for 7pm but planning to head up so that I'll arrive around 6:30pm.
  20. Quick heads up guys. Booking is made under my name. However, there are quite a few group tonight so get in earlier if you can so you can park inside!
  21. Chris, Sad to hear about this....Good luck with the sale...:-) We will do a final sending off cruise right before you sell :-)
  22. Ok all...latest weather update shows blue skies for Friday evening... Two more days for a car wash! See you all there....will be there early around 6:30p.m if work permits...
  23. Fixing it will probably cost more than replacing it. For your one stop shop, tell your friend to give Nuwan a call. He is based in Bayswater. He did my double DIN replacement with fascia and kit etc. He also did my immobiliser + alarm. No complaints and more importantly, he knows the Vs (complied over 60 of them) and has fairly reasonable pricing. Tell him that Keith sent you. His number is 0422807393. BTW, tell your mate he is welcome to join us for the Meet & Greet on Friday (24 Feb) at Garage Cafe in Carlton. See separate thread for details. Cheers, Keith
