  1. Yeah...we will do the quick switch-a-roo once the buyer puts down the deposit for my V35...swap headlights with yours...hehe.. BTW, you still got your extra zorst? The XO2s...
  2. Yum yum...please elaborate on the "additions"...bodykit?
  3. Forecast is currently looking good for this Sunday (for once!). A couple of us are going to go for a cruise Sunday morning on the East side if anyone is interested. Meet location: McDonald's Ringwood - corner New St & Maroondah Hwy Departing: 9am Destination: Whatever takes our fancy, maybe Toolangi, maybe Mt Donna Buang Let me know if any of you are keen. Cheers, Keith Facebook link below: http://www.facebook.com/events/152881608169522/?notif_t=plan_user_joined#!/events/152881608169522/
  4. Heard somewhere that the G37 will only come in around about Dec 12 or Jan 13. Initial launch will be for the FX SUV. Once the G37 comes in, based on my understanding, we can no longer import cars "manufactured" in Japan after that date (i.e Dec 12). Still gives us a good 3 years worth of imported supply once the 2012 Japanese models become due for their shaken in 2015 and come on the auction market.
  5. Getting really tempting...did my usual search on the auction sites..check out these results: 2009 Red V36 base model - Grade 5 - 9000km - AUD 22,410. 2007 Silver V36 S model - Grade 5 - 33000km - AUD 25,700. 2007 Gunmetal V36 S model - Grade 4.5 - AUD 24,000 Of course, you need to add the odd $4-5k for shipping, compliance etc..but the prices do seem to be coming down...Black colour seems to be holding its value though.
  6. Hi guys! See below for details of our next Garage Cafe meet. ====================== Location: Garage Cafe at 221 Berkeley St. Carlton Date: Friday 27 July 2012 Time: 630pm to late ======================= Please post up your attendance so I can book the venue. Thanks again to the support from the regulars. Hope to catch up with some of the others who haven't been able to make the past meets (Tyler/Igor/Marie) ChrisB - Fingers crossed, we get to see your G37? Keen to check out what comes with the S version and whether I can live without a P version. Dushed - Come and join us if your car has been complied. Enzo - missed you at the last meet....We don't get too many sedans so hope to see you at this one Cheers, Keith
  7. Perhaps some early variant of the scratch shield self healing paint that the v36s have.
  8. Some further translations: Clas3 - P collection with BOSE Clas4 - S collection with BOSE Clas5 - P collection without BOSE Clas6 - S collection without BOSE STDV4 - Leather Seat with Heating Front Only BLTT5 - 3 seatbelt rear with curtain airbag and active head restraint SPOI3 - Rear spoiler with side skirts and rear wiper SPOI2 0 Rear spoiler with side skirts I have no idea what the difference is between a P collection and a S collection. Presumably P means Premium and S means Sports. Looks like Nissan had the "S" and "P" designations for the V35 as well (as is the case with the V36).
  9. Dush, i know the feeling...I was tracking the ship that had my car on it all the way from Japan. Got a bit worried when the ship was delayed due to rough seas..and when it arrived, it had to go through the compliance process and then the agonizing wait for the compliance sticker to come from DOTARS. Anyhows, if the car comes by this Friday, you are most welcome to join some of the V35/36 Melb owners at our monthly meets, at the Garage Cafe in Carlton (see separate thread). Looking forward to seeing you there. If you can't make it this time, then hope to see you at the next meet (end of July). Cheers, Keith

So far those attending include: 1) thinktea 2) gkzlah 3) Dreadnought 4) Opal 5) Yasidi 6) ChrisB 7) Enzo Note that I've also invited Clarance Tang (aka Tangcla) to turn up. For those of you that haven't met him, Clarence is a skilled pro photographer that works magic with his camera. See attached the shots he did for SAU. Let me know if any of you are keen for a photoshoot (appox $80) and I'll let him know to bring his gear on that night. http://www.tangcla.com/gallery_38-26062009-SkylinesAustralia-photoshoot.htm Cheers, Keith
  11. Interesting find Opal...No idea who he or she is. Its definately not Igor/Stayer..who I believe is driving all the way to the Gold Coast in his V35!
  12. GIve Nuwan a call. He will be able to help you with the CVT sevice. He is located in Bayswater. He is very familiar with V35s and he services my 2006 V35 coupe as well. His number is 0422807393. Cheers, Keith p.s. If you can make it, pop over to the Garage Cafe in Carlton next Friday 29 June to meet some other V35 owners in Melbourne. (See separate thread).
  13. See below for Nuwan's details. He should be able to sort you out. Cheers, Keith Import Revolution 3/23 Scoresby Road Bayswater, Victoria 3153 Australia P/F |+61 3 9729 0669 M | +61 422 807 393 E | [email protected]
  14. Yes, speaking of which, we should have a chat about starting work on the V35 'Spotted!' cards...

ChrisB - Still waiting for your G37 to rock up, now that the infiniti badging project is complete. Marie, Tyler and Josh - Hope you all can make it this time. Location: Garage Cafe at 221 Berkeley St. Carlton Date: Friday, 29 June 2012 Time: 630pm till late. Please post up for attendance so I can book the venue. Cheers, Keith
  16. Silver and Matte Orange!! can wait to see the pics!
  17. Yeah, but you have infiniti wheelcaps don't you? hehe :-)
  18. Josh and Tyler, you were both missed. Hope to see you at the next meet. Josh, its 2-1 between me and Opal on the Princes Highway. Long story short, I went straight while she went sideways..:-). Stayer had a good view of it from the back. Opal and I also had to good time smoking an Audi TT which thought it could keep up with our cars... Also, someone took a pic of our cars...check out this blogsite..I think I spot Alvin's ride in one of the pictures. http://gripshiftslid...ge-cafe-garage/
  19. I had some condensation after the install (which was done on a wet and rainy day) but it cleared up after a day or two.
  20. I got it...been jammed at work. Will be there, but later than usual.
