I have a lightly modified GTR as you say, exaust, bit more boost etc.. couple of mats have ~220rwkw 33gtsts... MSPEC (he's on here), if i launch, he has no chance, i get a good 3 or so car lengths on him, and its all over... when he launches and i dont, he beats me over the 1/4 by about a car length or 2.... rolling in 2nd gear as you say, i generally pull away slowly, i think because i have longer gears, 8000rpm shift as opposed to his 7000rpm...

Had my car on the dyno today at racepace, all running good, acutally making more power than when i picked it up for some reason

It's nearly always wheel balancing, even after only 10000kms, especially if you have bigger rims/tyres, it seems to happen more... take it in for a wheel balance, and see?

nothing to gain??? what about fun and seeing what you car can really do (legally and safer than public roads)

Maybe the amp just doesn't have enough power to run your sub then? Sounds to me like your overdriving the amp

hahaha nice one DoughBoy... i never really thought about it, but i guess it is kinda rice... since its not really a direct comparison... the dyno really is a tuning tool... that said, i usually do ask what power people are running, along with other questions, times they run, mods/turbos etc.. they have... is that bad?

Snowman, that sucks, did you try bmw for parts yet? borrow a 33GTR box from somewhere and use that until you get your 34 one fixed?

The GTR already looks pretty mean as is... i guess i just want to touch up a few things, ie new front lip (current one is a bit average), and maybe a rear bar. Otherwise i want it more for all round drivabliity/performance

skylinegeoff - haha i know how to drive in snow, done it plenty of times, here and in the usa - nutters over there dont slow down, they just keep doing 90mph!! what i meant was riding in conditions where it is snowing isn't the best here in au, not driving Snowman: i know what you mean about getting stuck in powder, happened to me plenty of times, its scarey when your by yourself, trying to dig yourself out of something that feels hopless hahah Sounds good if i can get my feet back under me then i'd be keen to ride with whoever can show me the crazy stuff

hahah go easy on him, he's made a mistake, sure, you guys are harsh as its been said here (if you ever come back to read this thread?) compare it with something a little better... My R33GTR would be a better comparison price wise.. its 10 years old (even older technology), and it makes wrx's (well all that i have lined up against) look like they are standing still, subaru's also have problems with understeer... but i agree they have the misconception that they make you feel like your going fast (especially with the exaust) and feel like they handle good... put it against a GTR, or even a half decent gtst as snowman said, new wrx vs 15 year old r32, i'd be temped by the wrx as well, newer car etc...
