Call and find out? If you list all the mods don't expect it to be much cheaper than the GTR if at all.. The GTT is nice, its newer, and isn't as common as an R33 Shape.. Down here in melbourne, i see around the same R33 GTR's and R34 GTT, but most people can't tell the difference between 33gtr and gtst so they just say they are common. Both are sexy, the GTR has more power and more potential, the GTT is newer and has a different look (i love the r34 look/shape but most of my non skyline friends see r34's and they like my car much better for some reason)

Call nissan spare parts, seriously i wanted some clips that hold in door trims, called them up, explained what i was after .. guy looked it up on computer, said he could have some in for me the next day - cost me 10 bucks for 5 clips... simple i have a hand full of them here, found them in my car when i bought it (the grey clips you're after heh)

Yeah i emailed Trial yesterday and they told me they are different bars... They can sell me a geniune R33 GTR Trial rear bar for the low sum of 1000USD ... Don't think i can justify that... no one seems to make copies for GTR from what i can find. thanks RPMGTR

So your current MY00 STI runs a 12.6.... with a powerFC and exaust.. I probably shouldn't be talking yet, but... i belive my GTR (standard ECU not even powerFC), with exaust will run a 12-12.4 ... which puts me in front of your MY00 STI... I have done it on a gtech many times (not very accuriate i know), hopefully i'll have a proper time slip to prove it this friday night.

Sorry i was just making sure you knew there is a difference. IMO a stock wrx handles 'ok', it grips very good, thats why i was concerned you were getting them mixed up, i wouldn't be basing my handling on a wrx.

Sciby: its a common misconception that wrx's (b4's even) handle well, when they dont, they have good grip, and they 'feel' like they are cornering quickly, still havn't figured out why they feel that way, but handling and grip aren't the same thing...

There should be 5 bolts, undo all 5, then as you said, get a heat gun (or hair dryer) onto one side of the seal (we are talking about the seals from the inside of the boot, black goey stuff, it should be already kinda goey - not like silecon which goes rubbery/hard)... heat it up and keep pushing from the inside out, you will slowley start to feel it come loose, keep heating up bit by bit (start from the inside light)... also you will have to remove (or partially remove) the centre 'skyline plate' 2 bolts either side of it from the inside, no buemastic(sp?) holding it tho...

You have 'handling' and 'grip' mixed up.. the handing of a stock wrx is pretty average.. it does have a nice feel, and feels like its going fast, but a stock wrx handles like a dog, understeer, body roll, you name it.

bump... still can't find any definate answers - anyone know of any body kit companies i can call and ask? Looking at the rear of my car, it looks like the rear bar will have to come out more to fit with the flared guards on the GTR.... PS can somone move this thread to the new body kit section?

Sorry, just stating what i have seen/experienced.... even without launching in my car i have beaten wrx's (one in particular had lightweight racing wheels and exaust from what i could see)... my mates gtst with ~210rwkw, i can't beat unless i launch. Maybe the wrx's i have come up against just have bad drivers.

4.9 is impressive in a gtst with 211rwkw, must have good launches
