Looks like you figured it out Adz... its not my sandwich plate that is wrong, i think its the (4) fittings up to it, and as scottsman said i had a HKS kit fitted by UPI.... they said to bring it down and they will fix it, so hopefully no big deal, as soon as i can get my car back together... supposed to be getting a heater core tomorrow, so will be trying to figure out where everything goes back in the dash tomorrow night. Not paying $200 for a day at PI, if my car is working by then i might come and watch, or if anyone offers me a $110 ticket i'll put my car on the track, gotta beat that 1.57 the instructer ran in my car...

R33 gtst passenger side inner plastic wheel guard I know the R33 Gtst's have them, other models may too, not a big deal which one it comes off, i really only want the vents it has there for airflow for the stock intercooler (need it for my oil cooler)... bit neater than drilling holes...

where do i start heater core oil leak from oil cooler sandwich plate fittings water leak from somewhere not even sure where etc... i have the whole dash apart and out atm with the heater core out, waiting for a new one to come in on Monday, then i have to see if i remember how to put it back together...

got my nismo knob, it was mailed on the 1/9... still waiting for key but he said there was going to be a delay... very wierd whats going on. im sure there is an explaination.

Has anyone who joined cams at the PI track day got anything from CAMS about thier license? they haven't debted my CC yet or sent me anything...

Give him a chance, there is probably an explaination, ie he is in hospital or something like that... I can't see him running off with a few dollars he got from us.... not with his rep around here

Anyone seen/know anything about these ecus? i noticed on my ecu the other night that it has a 'wizzpower' sticker on it..

I have bendix ultimate pads in my car, came with it, not sure what they are rated at, but i've never had them fade on me yet... they squeel a bit under light braking...

DentonR33 has gone through it - his hks2530 would hold 14psi, then up top dropped off to 10-11psi, he has since bought a HKS actuator to install to help hold boost... so yes for the small investment of a actuator you will get a decent performance increase

ahhh i didn't realise there were 2 peices, i was just thinking it was the left (inside) peice... shouldn't be to hard to measure up and get made, but first i would like to do what you have done with the gtst guard inner

Emre: Chris told me that his temps dropped from about 120 on sat to about 110 on sun with the holes in the wheel guard inner, and he was driving harder on the sun.

Awesome track day, I liked the track a lot more than Winton. Higher speeds, faster corners and just a better track all around. Congratz to Snowman and Scottsman for coming 1st and 2nd respectively in their classes - goes to show what a relatively stock GTR is capable of. Even against the brand new stripped out roll cage equipped WRX STI. I started off with around 2:05s (I have no stickies, but I do have suspension), then went out with an Instructor who gave me a few tips and then gave him a drive of my car, he managed to get 1.57s consistently... I went back out after the tips from him and ran some 2:00 flat and 1.59's, it started to rain just after that so didn't get a chance to find the 1.57 like my car is capable of - I guess I need to learn how to drive now hey? Was hitting about 240 down the straight and about 180 into turn 1, great fun, would love to see what it felt like on stickies at 210 My oil cooler didn't work as well as expected, after speaking to Emre and looking at his car I defiantly need to get some more airflow around it, like he has. umm that's about all, I really do need another set of wheels and some track tyres so maybe I can get that 3rd position behind Andrew and Chris, would look even better having 1st 2nd and 3rd filled by 'GTR'
