  1. Vicroads sent out a recent buliten to all roadworthy testers stating that any in cabin battery (in the boot is counted as in cabin since its not behind a firewall) needs to be sealed and vented. so the gas it releases can't be ignighted etc..
  2. Does that mean you've found a car Simon?

I'm guessing he's looking for this stuff on advice from Ben@racepace..... who probably knows more than all of us here... Maybe do what Ben does, change your whole boot lid when you race...

  8. I think as long as you trust them, it should be fine, if they can't do something because its over thier head they should tell you then take it to a performance workshop/skylines specialist workshop etc...
  9. hahaha, nigerian scammer just tell them you can't take it off the market until you receive a deposit, and you're not budging, he'll stop emailing
  10. The s15 one airbag won't work tho will it? i know the r34 gtr airbag part won't work on r33 gtr
  11. You'll need a special Torx key/screwdriver, Size is T50 undo them, then the airbag bit will drop forward, then unplug it and the other plug in there, then a 20mm socket goes over the center nut, undo that, then just pull at the steering wheel side to side it will come off.. i'd make sure your wheels are pointing directly straight before doing this so you dont end up putting steering wheel back on off centre...
  12. Don't think you can buy just the one gear from the gearset ? Starionturbo: You're probbaly right, but something i didn't know until it was too late

"no but im taking out your daughter tonight"
  14. im no expert, but at a guess high 14s or low 15's, depending on driver/tyres/how well you get off the line
  15. May be worth seeking legal advice... especially if your car can't even do 110km/h, or if it takes 1km to get up to 110/h and you only have 500 meters you can prove it that way etc... i think INASNT got his sentences halfed with some arguments like that
  16. Yeah was a good cruise, thanks for the organisers andrew/adz/ash - and everyone for showing up *pats GPS*

  20. I'd think the Gtst would have the advantage on tigher/slower tracks since its lighter, easier on the tyres, and easier to throw into tight corners... but on the faster/not as tight tracks i'd think the GTR would be better... Driver has a lot to do with it, roll out a 33GTR and 33GTST in factory form, no mods at all, no exaust, etc... same (good) driver, and i couldn't see how a gtst could beat a GTR... once you start throwing a little money into suspension and light power mods its starts to even out.... my opinion
  21. Nice article, wish it did get further, but we all know it won't
  22. What else you going to spend your money on? If you need it for something else, then you can't afford your car, fair enough.. But skylines are a hobby not an investment, hobbies are expensive, surely you realised this before you bought it?
  23. Snowman: haven't those wrx tyres had enough roll on them already i'd take the place if its inark/snowman dont take it - i didn't sign up since i wasn't sure if my car would have a gear box, it does now... not fussed either way, ill probably still come down for a watch regardless
  24. I thought the 33gtst was in the 1300kg's and has ~180kw@fly standard? never been in a gtir, wouldn't mind a ride in one
  25. That sucks, you're taking it way to well! where's all the swear words? I've been warned away from chipsaway, if you want a proper job only way is respray
