  1. Ahh ok, thanks heaps SK... I'm not doing much track work at the moment, i plan too, but i need a baffle and oil cooler first. thanks again
  2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/tr...ngs.php?u=10447 paypal are waiting for him to respond (which he won't) if he hasn't by the 26/6 they say they will take all action they can to retrieve the funds from him.
  3. 1.05 mobil syn8000 and thats on the cheap side atm...
  4. i'm aiming for neg 1.5 on the front and neg 1 on the back. You said the rear camber is worst offender? But in my case my fronts are ~ -2.5 and rear ~ -2 My front tyres are scrubbed baddly on the insides, rears, not so bad. I'm about to get some new tyres - hence i want to get the camber fixed up.. probbaly get a whiteline handling pack (swaybars, rear camber kit, front castor kit) + front camber kit. So i guess my main question is, is it worth raising my car 10mm? - it shouldn't be to hard with my adjustable coilovers.
  5. Thanks SK, just measured mine, 340 at the back 335 at the front. so about 10mm off what optimum is... i have height/damper adjustable coilovers, would it be worth raising it 10mm? Whats the standard camber / toe in/out settings like? what does dropping it to 345/350 do to the camber? I think i'm running about -2.5deg neg camber up front and about -2deg camber at rear... guessing this is because it is lowered about 40mm from standard?
  6. illegal, same as a blow of valve (externally venting)
  7. Guys its not current power vs current weight. it is factory power vs factory weight... yes it is stupid - you can buy a non turbo GTS and wack a RB26DETT and probably get away with it since the factory specs of a GTS power to weight is ok It sounds like either vic cops or this cop in particular is out to get P platers in skylines at the moment - think this is the 3rd thread on this i have seen on here about the same thing, similar area in the last couple of weeks.
  8. Can't find standard and optimum ride hight on there looking at the R33 GTR pdf... it has a reference to ride hight, but no figures
  9. 380mm front 370mm rear, is that for a GTT ? Whats the Standard ride height of R33 GTR? I've searched around a bit with no luck.. What is the optimum ride height on a R33 GTR? thanks
  10. thanks mr_fanny.... may give them a call Do you mind if i ask what you had done there and what it cost you?
  11. prank - maybe if anyone creates a new thread in the for sale section you should displace the rules before it continues onto the post new thread page?
  12. Anyone had this done on a R33 GTR in Melbourne? If so where? I went to Compualign (Computer alignments in nunawading) today for a alignment... i have about -2.5 camber on the fronts and about -2 on the back.. has anyone used these guys before? they are recommended from the whiteline page... but they didn't seem to know much about skylines/My GTR... so a bit iffy about letting them install/play with my car... Can anyone recommend someone (personal experience?) in Melb, prefer S.E Suburbs... Centreline is suppose to be good but it's a bit far away.... thanks
  13. hahah Gav... i use castrol synth formula R 10w-50w (i think, maybe its 60w)... ryco or nissan filter
  14. damn, and heres me thinking i had a reply that had some mats i want speaker covers so you can't see my (crap) sony speakers in back - less chance of someone breaking in to steal the 30$ POS
  15. 90watts rms = 90 watts constent power... none of this '10000000watts peak' stuff 90w rms wont really give you much from a sub.... most of the low end ones want about 150w rms... best to use that amp (assuming 2 chanel) to run some splits up front.... probably 40wrms x 2?
  16. i wish commondore drivers would try to line me up

  21. i carry a rug/picnic blacket thing in my boot for reasons exactly like that , put rug/blanket down on seat, put wheel on it... no horrible dirty wheel on my interior
  22. Yeah i'm guessin he has read this thread now, he last logged on on 20/6.... just be careful about any new users you dont know / haven't seen around /without any or very little posts on the forum offering you something.... (what i should have done)
  23. Yeah, how much did you pay for them out of interest? yeah my car was at the auto elecs a couple of months ago, so would of been mine Thanks Now you have bought the tyres, probably not much you can do... I'm about to try some hancook 104's, hopefully better than these 326's
  24. sorry but they are crap tyres i have them on my GTR (came with it), about to change them, can't handle how bad they are i wouldn't put them on any performance related vehicle, maybe a stock standard 6cyl ford/holden
