  1. words of a wounded man.
  2. They can't revoke a fine as far as I'm aware. It will need to go through a formal process as explained above. Again, I would suggest seeking legal advice if you choose, or are forced to take option 2.
  3. Did you get a written fine on the spot? or did he tell you he is going to send you one? The only ways you can get out of it, if you honestly weren't speeding are one of these. 1 - Write to the address on the fine and explain your story. This is probably unlikely to get you off but doesnt cost anymore than a postage stamp. 2 - Opt to take it to court on the back of the fine. I'd suggest getting some legal representation for this, as in court the magistrate and DPP can be very pushy and daunting. You then have to prove that you were not speeding.....i.e. show with proof (or by showing doubt in the fact) that the cop had made a mistake Importantly, write down your version of the story ASAP so you don't forget any details if/when it finally goes to court.
  4. When: 01/11/2004 Where: Wakefield With who: SAU & RENEW Any pre-setup involved: Change all fluids in car Favourite memory of the day: pictures tell a thousand words Things you learnt; about your car, yourself or the track: Much safer, more fun and cheaper that doing it on the road. Learning how the car reacts in certain situations and also what it's limits and your own are. How much fun you had! : <-- I had a smile like that on my face for a week after. Definately one of the most fun times I've had.
  5. The wife's going to be bring it in tomorrow Stu, she wont know whats going.
  6. I don't wanna know that you're "into" arseholes.
  7. My car is booked in for tomorrow! Look after it for me yeah?
  8. So you're saying he does it for the love of it? And works for free?
  9. I couldnt seen any "SAU" on the cover or on the OP.

  11. And Betty isn't here to celebrate!
  12. Craaaaaaaaazy
  13. time for glasses? unless you're mistaken, because we ride bikes, not "cruz" them?
  14. We digress, but the video I saw of the 1:08, if I'm not mistaken, was of his first time out there? surely he can answer that? Either way, from that video, it's quite clear that it wasn't a smooth lap either with many seconds to improve just in a smoother lap, as you'd expect with a one hot lap experience.
  15. I've seen that lap.........One out lap, one @ 1:08 lap then one in lap. Very, Very impressive.
  16. It looks a treat, wasn't having a dig (sorry if it sounded like that) just curious how it was done, because yeah, seal welding it would be f**k off hard.
  17. The rotation of a rotor inside the housing is different to the stroke of a piston. these two cannot be compared. only the amount of combustions per rotation of the output shaft.
  18. Looks great! Did they fully weld the new roof panel? wondering if they used bog, if it will crack during the stresses of the track, although you will have a cage which will stiffen the whole thing up.
  19. The only thing you can compare between piston and rotary is combustions per rotation of output shaft. And for that, the rotor does one (for each rotor) piston does half as many as there are pistons. end of story.
  20. I wouldn't say they are 2 stroke, or 4 stroke, as there are 3 parts to the "stroke" Not entirely sure about this one................. Capacity of any engine is combustion x cylinders. 0.66 x 2 = 1.3L. It is the number of of combustions per revolution that changes this compared to a piston engine. A piston engine only fires (combusts) half of the cylinders per revolution, the rotary uses both combustion chambers per revolution. It's easier to double rotaries capacity in this sense instead of halving pistons, when comparing capacity I've seen some 1000+hp 13B's. Thats pretty good power. Even for "3.9L" 2 Spark plugs is for pollution, it burns the excess fuel/air mixture that doesnt burn from the first spark, an inefficiency. Kinda like the Z-series motor in the nissan family A standard box for a 13B isnt that big. But when they quite often match up a celica/supra 5sp or alike to handle the power, it is rather big.
  21. Point is, I don't see you buying a Ferrari because their website claims their car is faster on their "facts on ferrari" webpage.
  22. Well we could run 5 different HDMI cables for the price of your one.
  23. what did hami do?
  24. Thats a shit theory, considering the motion you need is round and round (output shaft - diff - tyres)
