i rekon there two different cars (at least the photos are). The colour match is to good for the front bar. The jap photos also have a nismo speedo unit, double din stereo and modified intake piping. The aussie has single din, factory speedo, different exhaust, different wheels, factory option flood lamps, stock front bar, stock airbox/stock piping, stock wheels.

Exactly what i found with the carbon D - glad i didn't steer you in the wrong direction. I've had Jim Berry up the clamping force on mine, so i'll let you know if i still get slippage on steep driveways. Engine mark 3 sounds awesome. Can't wait!!! Twin GTX2867's might be alright - you would loose some potentional up the top end, but would be pretty snappy in the low/mid-range with that capacity

Sounds like your coils or plugs are on the way out. Fuel pump on the way out will cause underfueling - not overfueling. (unless your regulator is stuffed too)

I've only seen the Nitto rods up close and they look and feel great. Also well proven in a number of engines....but so are the scats.

Fantastic looking car mate and tastefully modded. I have the front bar brake ducts on my car and they have dedicated pipe work from them to the front rotors. My rotors have a braket on the back with a metal ring that ducting can be hose clamped to - the ducting runs along the caster rod (tied on with cable ties) and than onto a collector attached to the lower front bar. I don't know if mine is the stock set-up or not, but yours doesn't appear to have the metal ring for attachment so i'd say it isn't My gtr is currently in transit between states, otherwise i would grap some photo's for better explanation as it would be fairly simple to make up the ring bracket and add the ducting.

600hp... $10K engine $2.5k turbo $1k intercooler $2.5k E85 fuel system $1k exhaust $1.5k e85 tune $1.5k ECU 20k adds up pretty quickly without even touching the gearbox/clutch. 400hp with bolt on's maybe a better option or buy an already built long motor. 20k will get you driving some pretty quick well built 32gtr's too

Work's pretty plentifuly, lowest unemployment rate in the country. i know that catch can, its really shinny :-) Did you get a water pump? Paul kept hold of my spare N1....

GTR arrives in Perth next week and i've booked dyno time with Danny @garage101 for a base tune on the 20/21st of November. Can't wait to it's ready- so excited.

yep - welcome to the joys of gtr ownership. nice price on the 9's - thats basically what i paid for my -5's (which are usually a few hundred cheaper)

Paul's pretty anal with his clearences when he builds an engine.... Was there any blow-by before you took it to the tuner?

Didn't know if you just ordered off the shelf silicon hose line or a kit...but yeah... never heard of anyone using silicon hose for brake lines.

Good stuff benji, but i would throw the silicon brake line hoses in the bin. I beleive heat in the brake area will be to high and will potentially cause the hoses to soften - there only rated to ~100deg Braided lines or stock rubber in that area.

no front drive shaft means can't really pwr the front wheels.... it's only temperory. the universal joint was stuffed, so i going to order a new shaft from nissan.

guess i've got balls - GTR with no front prop shaft.... and nice vid btw
