Hit it lightly with something, if it tings like crystal it's probarly titanium. Some grades of stainless will turn funny colours too.

Cool - i will make the return lines as big as possible, i just said 10mm as an example. I will be using the stock return inlet. :-)

For those that don't know, to use a ARC twin entry intercooler, the stock BOV return piping needs to be removed. The previous owner of my car removed the entire stock setup and installed some HKS atmo's. Since that isn't really my thing, i want to go back to the stock setp, but retain the ARC cooler. What i want to do is create some custom piping back to the intake. I plan to use seperate both BOV using say 10mm ID piping and running past the ARC intake piping (where the red dots are) and joining them up with a Y joint before returning to the stock collection point. Anyone see any problems with doing this? Will there be problems as the new return piping will have a smaller cross-sectional area then the orginal piping? I'm pretty sure it will be alright, but just want to make sure I have all the stock piping and the car will be runnning around the 380-400awkw once finished

you'll need to bring it back to legality - i.e. exhaust 90db etc i'd get a list of modifications and talk to the workshop that is going to do your blue slip. If you do buy it, I recomand CEVA for transport. I've used them before and I'm using them again for a reverse trip to yours. Just let them know if the car is under 150mm clearence.

There looking for people to put cadeships for final year too, so it may lead into a permanent job (i'm meant to be working with a team of ~10 engineers, of which their are currently 3-4 vacanciess...this is just my sub-division alone...so no shortage of jobs)
