  1. Id say a Fujitsubo super legalis R, but it would probably be a bit quiet for your liking
  2. Im thinking about one. I just need to verify whether mine is on its way out yet or not
  3. because its all about politics Turbos and V8's are bad, even if they put out less power than v6's
  4. you will find that erratic signals display on the gauges are fairly common on nissans. If you suspect there really are no problems with the engine, id say its most likely a faulty oil pressure sender unit. I had the same problem with the pressure sender unit on my 32, my 33 had problems with the tacho gauge, so im guessing there may be some problems with 34's also
  5. ouchies !! Im payin $4200 for a 95 gtr vspec with just cars 30% NCB Insured for 40k Im 23 years old Id be keen on moving to famous, but i still dont like their no parking on the street policy
  6. no they also come in sedans, just like the gts-t's do
  7. Is it a 4door or a coupe ?
  8. This is usually a problem with the sender unit in the engine bay Common problem on nissans
  9. for a good bodykit you really wouldnt expect to pay much over 4-5k fitted have a look on www.nengun.com They have a few kits on there so you can get a general price idea
  10. service books can be rigged These engines can last 300,000 kms + before they need rebuilding. But it all matters how theyve been taken care of I can easily say most vehicles coming into the market in australia have clocked over 200,000km (especially those 89 gtrs)
  11. its illegal and it shouldnt be done Km windback is very common on jap cars
  12. The only different one from factory would be the N1 front bar Im pretty sure about this too !
  13. *within reason, of course I didnt have my 32 insured when i had that. It had a clublock and that was it. The car was worth what 8k ? Obviously if its not realistic to insure a vehicle then you may as well try other options. Theres blokes out here with gtrs getting stolen, which are worth what 25k ? Thats a helluva lot of money
  14. 42k ? Way too expensive. You should be able to find cars in decent condition for max 35k, especially for a 98 model. Have a look on the forums in the for sale section. Most are going for around 30kish Good luck
  15. Get insurance If you cant afford insurance on the car, you really shouldnt be owning that car
  16. did you have any insurance ?
  17. My pfc picks up knock from my noisy starter motor. And it only happens on startup ! So it is prone to picking up noises. Whether it is the diff or not, I have no idea?
  18. Might let you know that the vspec and non vspec front bars are the same on the 33. All 33 gtrs came with brembo brakes and those cooling ducts. Cheers
  19. Why not just take your 33 back to stock then ? And get back to standard economy which is about 12L/100
  20. If you dont rev a gtr it wont launch, just bog down. My mate just bought a brand new HSV clubbie 6 litre v8 LS2, and damn does it fly, launch or on the highway. Almost got me scared. Until I took him for a spin in my car and showed him Very different power delivery. If you dont rev a gtr, its an absolute pig, especially off the start
  21. id also recommend something other than the 326's I have em on my gtr and they suck in the wet. Not too good in the dry either. BUT they will last you 40,000 kms
  22. Hmmm Comin back from gosford after I got lost after getting off the ferry on the other side of wisemans ferry I hit a wallaby Thank heavens for brembo brakes. Got back down to about 20-30 km/hr from 80km/hr in no time, wallaby deflected off my bumper and went flying GTR - 1 Suicidal Wallaby - 0
  23. i reckon if you want that sort of quarter mile time, get a gtr slam about 3-4k into it and you'll be pulling mid 12's if not less
  24. 33 GTR's are a bout 335-345mm
