Spluttering etc is more of a misfire pinging is when you can hear the engine make a sound that literally sounds like 'ping' - metal hitting against metal. PS Dont gun your car when cold

I would recommend everything but the 18% That was way too dark. I think at one stage I almost ran someone over as I was turning right, because I couldnt see to the right of me. So 18% is way too dark, unless you are prepared to drive with your windows down the whole time. 28% isnt too bad. Not as dark as the 18% but probably as dark as I would want to get. I think most people will be happy with either the 38% or the 28%. These two seem to be the most popular, according to Robert I'll take some photos tonight (if I dont forget), but its hard to tell the difference because it depends entirely on lighting conditions

I got 28% tint done I had 18% on my other skyline and it was way too dark

They were all options. My gtr 33 S1 came with a passenger airbag (option) No wiper unfortunately. Bit of a pain when it rains and you cant wipe the rear window

I'm quite surprised that most of you guys would prefer the M3 over the GTR, even a 34 ?!?!?!?! I suppose once youve gotten over the whole import turbo sports car scene, you want some luxury ?

They probably would be slightly less restrictive, but not by much Once I get my exahust done I might be looking at getting one. Why dont you purchase a twin tip system with dual mufflers ? Theyre usually fairly quiet. Add on an ECV and you can adjust the noise level

Is it recommended to have an upgraded oil cooler, sump baffle, radiator upgrade for this 'driver training' day ?

Well the other day proved that stock for stock they're pretty even Im talking stock exhausts also, and ive removed the boost restrictor. Mind you, my engines probably more worn than the M's Hopefully next time I face one of these, I'll have an exhaust, which will make things more interesting

Whats the go with this ? We are both merging onto the freeway, I gun it, and this guy keeps up with me? Im talking about 30 clicks to about 110 km/hr I suppose a stock M3 keeps up with the gtr on the straights ? Sorry, this is just a random rant I think im trying to coerce myself to start modding my GTR I know ive posted in this section before, but im pretty sure ill be doing exhaust fairly soon front pipe + hi flow cat + custom cat back + some sort of QUIET dual tip muffler
