  1. Yeah as previous said, drop to a smaller width tyre. May need to remove front liner to reduce scrubbing, but will EASILY fit in the rears. Won't poke much on the fronts, and will sit inset in the rears. When I bought spacers, I just lowered mine to the low that it would ideally sit at, then measured from the tyre -> guard. That worked well for me, I was about 5mm out. Make sure you don't get spacers, as in metal that sits in between your rim and disk, but get the-- I think they are called hub centralisers or some bullshit, but basically it bolts on to your existing bolts, then you bolt the rim off that. If you want perfect flush, you need to find out what offset your rim is. And I think the perfect flush fitment for an r34 is 9.5+27, and that can transpose to 10.5+40, 8.5+14, etc etc. Then just use your rims offset and add the spacer in to make it perfect flush using before meantioned offsets.. Note: When car is jacked up, it will poke A LOT, but once you lower it, it will be ok Now many people will tell you spacers are bad and all that shit. I have been running for 6 months, and I know people who have been running for 3+ years and had no issues ever. Just don't get shit quality ones, and you should be ok. And I suggest if you want flush, you roll all your guards. You are looking at about $100 for the car done, and if done properly, you will have no paint damage. Any further issues, just give me a buzz.
  2. See, I was close PICS! That sounds mean!
  3. My guess is like 15mm before camber.. Don't know how much the camber will run off, but you may need flaring of the guards.
  4. Shit that'd be close. It would certainly poke a fair bit... With the camber and rolling, I reckon you would get away with it. I'm going 10.5+30 on my rears, no camber, guards rolled and it should sit perfectly on 255s. Pics up when you slam them on, that'll look hot!
  5. Cheers for clearing that one up guys.
  6. That would be a safe fitment. Nothing too outlandish, and sortaflush.
  7. Dude that is sex. Very JDM. Who gives a f**k if no one likes it. Haters gonna hate!
  8. I can't be too sure, I have only really been doing research on 34s, and to a lesser extent, 33s because the gap is much the same. What kind of rims are you running at the moment? Based on the 34 stock rims, if I slapped those rims on my car it would most definatly rub on the rears, they are sitting 30mm further INSIDE the guards, closer to the suspension then stock rims. The sizes you have seem ok, I would just revise the offset. A guard roll will only set you back $100, and it is worth getting. I will do some research and see what I can find for you. EDIT: After researching a bit on 32s, yours will fit fine. Rears will be close to hicas on rears, and it if it is too low you will need to lip the guards. Such poor offsets on 32s..
  9. I got blue inside the footwells. Pretty happy with just that, but yours looks pretty mean. Also, razer computer gear (Y)
  10. I would find it hard to think 9.5+38 would not have scrubbing issues on the inside of the wheel (suspension, arms, etc) Not sure about 32's though. And 18x8.8? May want to revise measurements.
  11. The only difference between 2 wheels of the same offset and size would be dependent on the style of rim - whether it clears the brakes. I have a friend who has 8 pots on the front, and VERY few rims fit because of the clearance needed. He has Te37s and Lmgt4s or whatever sitting in his garage that he had on beforehand that won't fit now cause of his brakes - this is very rare though, and it is only because his brakes are $15000 to keep up with his 1000hp rb3.15. And I wouldn't have thought coils would affect the clearance too much as a low offset like that should be pushing the rim out fairly far. I don't own a 34 GTR though so I am not the expert to be talking to. Have a look at this and judge for yourself: http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=245&aspect=40&diameter=18&wheelwidth=9&offset=30&width2=255&aspect2=40&diameter2=19&wheelwidth2=10.5&offset2=22&Submit=Submit Pretty sure GTR rims are 18x9+30 (not 100% sure).. If we assume you have safe fitment tyres, say 245/40, and slap some stretch on the 10.5s, say 255/40, you can see in the picture the new rims are going to sit 27mm further out (poke) but also 11mm in further (inset) which I would have thought would be easily enough clearance inside the guards.
  12. 9.5 and 9 mean the offset will be different, and for the sake of half an inch you are better off going 9's imo. Unless he specifically ran 9.5s with no issues. 9.5 + 27 = 9 + 22 Wider rim = less offset needed to poke the same amount, but then you get clearance issues. I want to run 10.5 all round but fronts will rub.
  13. Assuming same width, yours will have 5mm less poke. Nothing to be too concerned about.
  14. I would have thought you would have scrubbing issues on fronts. I could be wrong though.
  15. Where was this support when I slapped underglow on my car. I just got raped by everyone.
  16. Interested in eyelids. Is there some sort of pricing page i can look at? R34
  17. Pics!
  18. I have trawled through this thread and it seems no one is running a very aggressive fitment on a ER34 coupe. Everyone has shitty offsets with little if any guard work. I am purchasing Varrstoens 2.2.1 18" wheels. I was initially thinking 18x9.5+22 front, 18x10.5+30 rear, but after talking to a few people and looking through basically every post in the entire thread, I have decided it is not flush/aggressive enough for my liking. What I am not sure of is if the guards are the same front and rear. If they are, I am thinking 18x10.5 + 15 all round. Only problem is it may scrub inside the guard on the suspension or arm, which I have no idea how much clearance I have. I can't really go 18x9.5 because the lowest offset they offer is +12 and that is (I am quite sure) not enough poke for what I am after. I plan on running 245/35 on the 10.5 or 225/30 on the 9.5. I have my guards rolled, I have the front liners removed, I have up to -2 camber from the coilovers and I will put camber arms on if needed. I don't really want to flare the guards. I need some REAL opinions from people WHO ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. Shoutout to nisskid for helping thus far.
  19. Obvious troll. Fell for it.
  20. Im about to put 18x9.5+22 225/35 on the front and 18x10.5+30 245/35 rears on my r34 gtt. Should be a VERY aggressive fitment. Thoughts?
  21. That is the kit that I was talking about above. I know it isn't mentioned in the description, that is why I took the time and effort to post all that crap about them. And cheers man, as I said above, I rarely have them on, it's mainly for show for people who aren't used to the JDM scene. Doesn't bother me when people hate.
  22. I don't see why there is so much hate. I rarely turn them on, you can't see them if I don't. It's mainly just for people who don't know about imports who are like "OH IT'S LIKE THE ONE IN FAST AND FURIOUS!" That is an old photo of mine. LET THE HATING.. BEGIN!!
  23. Jaycars set is about $60 and comes with 4 strips (2 around 1.2m long, 2 around 800cm long) of rubber encased RGB LED's. Completely weatherproof, waterproof, etc. The RGB globes come with 8 different pre programmed modes, and 7 different colours. (Red, green, blue, white [red/green/blue], cyan [green/blue], purple [red/blue], yellow [red/green]) 1st mode: Cycles quickly though the solid red/green/blue 2nd mode: Cycles quickly though cyan/yellow/purple 3rd mode: Fades in an out slowly (nice smooth transitions) between all the colours. 4th mode: Flashing white 5/6/7/8th mode (respectively): Solid white/red/green/blue Comes with a small control box which is easily hidden. On the fronts I just cable tied to the plastic underneath the engine bay, rear I double sided taped to the fuel tank, then used silicone to fill the gap up. There is a grommet in the boot somewhere you can push the wires through and run into the car. I just tapped into a constant positive power source inside the fuze box (so I didn't have to run an inline fuze) and draws about 300mA on idle, nothing to be worried about if you drive your car daily, but if it is a weekend car I would go into an accessories power source. Obviously the other LED strips are the solid whites, I haven't seen any 1000 colour leds around ever. PS. Haters gonna hate.
