I reckon if I had your car back when i got my licence I would be currently living at Fawkner Cemetry, not becasue I'm reckless but because it takes a few years to gradually learn how to drive properly and react to situations that happen on the road even if your the safest guy on earch. I highly recommend Benny at Chasers Tuning in Kensington. I have had 4 skylines over the past few years and have visited most of the big tuning shops in Melb and i am yet to meet someone that knows more about them! I am there nearly every week getting stuff done infact I know for a fact that he has a T28 steel wheel turbo at the shop that he can fit for less than $1000. Call him and say you know Jevan from the Skyline forum on his work mobile 0433 184 724 and he should cut you a good deal. Always best to shop around! Jev

Another avenue- I lost a shaft piece from my turbo and when it my car was idling it would rattle in the exhuast as it was stuck in front of the cat converter. Is your turbo boosting and not screaming??

Brake pads included? Do they fit an R32 GTST with standard mags?

in Vic they use any car cos they contract out alot of the work to private companies.. Rav 4's, camery, Excels.

As the title says, I have a R32 GTR front mount in good condition. Has a couple of lightly bent fins but other than that its fine. I have been tossing up whether to install it but it looks like I am going to get a work car in April and will sell the R32. $300 ono R32 Stock turbo with dump pipe. Just removed as part of a turbo upgrade. Inspection from Chasers has found that it is in excellent condition. Thought it was leaking but discovered it was a hole in my exhaust so the turbo is FINE. Ran on stock boost only. $200 ono HICAS lock bar. Originally purchased for an R32 but never installed. Perfect condition $60 pick up in Melbourne (Ascot Vale) Not sure if they fit R33 or R34's as it came with the car when I purchased it recently as an extra in the boot. I agree totally with "surfiemullet" Buy a teflon treatment for around $15 and some Castrol Syntrax or redline shockproof oil first ($130). I had the same type of dramas on an STi gearbox which would have cost me massive $$$$. I changed the oil in the box with the addition of teflon treatment, drove for about 400km and it never caused me another problem. Before I did this it would crunch badly changing into second after 4000rpm

No I have exact same issue. I took it to Benny at Chasers Tuning (who is amazing with skylines) and he said the turbo is well and truely f*cked. The wining is the turbo spining off balance. It will hold boost but it won't be very efficient

I'm waiting to hear back from a buyer at $280. If he gets in touch tonight I will drop it off tonight or tomorrow. This stuff will sound excellent in a skyline or any other car for that matter and I'm taken back as to how its been for sale for nearly 2 weeks at 25% of retail cost!!!

I can vouch for these coolers. Very very good! I had one fitted to a R33 series 1.5 with excellent results. Nearly as good as a big front mount but without the $600 plus dollars for stainless steel piping!!

I have fitted two R34 turbos- one was into a R33 when the old turbo died The second was into a R32, they are a direct fit. I'll make an offer of $500 as I need another one for an R32. Excuse my rudeness but I think $800 is way too high even if its got 24km. This amount of km means the turbo is well and truly run in and is by no means even close to new As to the question of whether they are different the answer is not really. They look exactly like an R33 turbo and pretty much perform identically. I had my R33 dynoed before and after one was fitted with no power difference.

Ive had lots of individual offers on the amp and a single offer of $280 for the lot which I am inclined to take by the end of the week unless someone comes with more money and gets it out of my garage!

My two suggestions: 1) Your Air Flow meter is either f*cked, or, 2) You have a big aftermarket fuel pump without engine management

Isthis a 'Forced Induction' question or a maintence question? How about you go to autobarn and buy some heavy duty remover and ask the sales clerk which one would be best for your application

Some simple advice. Buy a heavy duty clublock and put it on backward so the lock is facing your instrument cluster. The most common way they are broken is with a screw welded onto the back of a hammer. They srew it into the lock and pull out the whole locking barrel. If you put the clublock on with the lock facing the instrument cluster this method of breaking them is impossible!

Hi guys, Upgrading the turbo on my R32 so the standard unit is up for sale after $170 ono. Will get pics when its out next week. Works fine and holds boost without any issues. Done around 100k. Also have some great audio gear that is back for sale due to a timewaster turning up with no money and asking if he can take the gear and come back on pay day! Kenwood amp- used for about a month works perfectly. 500 w, with 4 channels. (Retail around $400 at JB HIFI) Kenwood 6x9's still in box not used at all ($250 at JB HIFI) Kenwood DB 10" sub in a long carpeted sub box, again this has not been used (retail for $380) Also have premium speaker wire that cost me $100 still in the packet (12 Mtrs) Now I would rather sell all of the audio stuff in one hit $300 FIRM for the lot!!!
