Lowered springs with the right spring rates are proving to be hard to find without paying out the arse for them.

I'm just wondering if it would be possible to just get the standard springs in a RS4S "squashed" at a spring manufacturer to lower it? I've had it done before on a couple of my cars (HQ Premier and a VQ Statesman) and it worked fine. I don't go racing around the countryside like a Targa Tasmania driver or anything, I just want it to sit nice. I'm looking to go down 40mm front and 30mm rear. I realize I may need a shorter throw shock to keep the spring captive when going down those numbers. It's just been a cost effective solution in the past (about $40 per spring) and i've not seen anyone talk about it on here at all. Probably because everyone is after super handling. I'm not, I just drive it around but want to look nice while doing it. Some feedback would be great. Thanks Ben.

I've had my C34 for about a month now and had plenty of "WTF is that?", "look at the Skyline wagon", "Nice Volvo mate" (mainly from the guys at work giving me shit) but today I got my first "What make of car is that?" from a guy delivering junk mail. To which I replied, it's a Nissan. Then he says "looks like half a hurse, looks good in black though!" I don't think I'll ever get tired of the humor associated with the uninformed people of this world. 

Is the exhaust just one you had made or brand name performance? How's $500 for the lot sound?

How are the grill badges? I'm chasing the centre double unicorn and the RS Four from the lower right. If they're alright, how much? Also how much do you want for the exhaust? I'm also after a cargo set (blind and net). If you have them, how much? Could maybe work out a price for the lot?? Was the car lowered?
