Would anyone have any idea why the Tein S-Tech springs I fitted in my RS4S didn't actually lower the car noticeably? The front dropped maybe 10mm but the back didn't drop at all. The Tein front springs were about 1.5inches shorter than the stock spring and the backs were the same height. It is noticeably stiffer in the front though...

Fitted Tein S-Tech springs in my series 2 RS4S yesterday. Was hoping for the 1.5inch drop that they claim but it's only dropped about 10mm in the front and practically nothing in the rear. Just hoping it'll settle down a bit over the next couple of weeks with driving. It's definitely stiffer though.

I've got an RS4S with Yellowjackets, cat back, running 10psi, I drive spiritedly but don't flog it (no redline in every gear) and I get 400-420 around town and 500-520 down the highway sitting on 113km/h or there about. Hope that helps.

I bought a compete grille from Just Jap just for the badges. $110 delivered and now I have a spare grille. Cheaper than $170 for the two badges from Nissan!!

Nah I'll get tyres locally down here. Just have to drive up to pick up the rims. Going to be a big day if I get them!! I know Tempe and I know they're good. Although I've been stuff around by them in the past when getting wheels for my 5L VQ Statesman. Probably wasn't all their fault as I was in a rush and they kept saying they're coming they're coming for about 3 weeks. Ended up getting the same wheels in a different color, cheaper and in about 3 days from somewhere else. Although they had the sane bank account so I guess they still got my cash in the end. Haha. 7 day wheel and tyre or something like that. I'd give Tempe another go if I wasn't in a rush tho. Not dissing them at all.

So you got the varrstoen's then? I've been keeping an eye on everything Stage on here for a while now hahaha. I'll find out if i got mine tomorrow.... Just need to drive to Sydney (about 600k's) to get them, then put tyres on them! Looking forward to the pics tho...

Yeah I just did a heap of reading through here and found a white rs4s running 18x9.5 +15 with 8mm slip on spacers for the rear to gain strut clearance on page 11 and it looks perfect. The wheels I'm lookin at are only 9" so that gives me 7mm more clearance inside and out. Shouldn't need to run a spacer and don't want to! I'm still at stock ride height (much to my dismay!) haha. I believe they're a Lenso D1r...

Hey mate. I've just got a question about the wheels on this in the pics. What width and offset? They seem to sit just how I want mine. I'm looking at some 18x9 +15 but reading so many different things as to whether they'd fit or not. It's doing my head in!! Hope you can help and sorry to hijack your thread Forgot to mention I have stock suspension at stock ride height.

Found some cheap GTR fittment wheels. 18x9 +15. Am I correct in thinking they will fit my rs4s? Need an answer ASAP please!! Cheers guys.

My C34 started doing that the day after got it. Very intermittently. But when the light came on it'd run like a pig. I checked the code with a paperclip and got 21. Did some research, replaced the coilpacks, and it's still going strong nearly 9 months later. I got Yellowjacket coilpacks delivered to my door for $420 and put them in myself. It's not that hard, just a little fiddly and I'm no mechanic. Took me 3 hours from start to finish. I checked the plugs while I had the coilpacks out too.

The Paperclip method works a treat. I did it to expose an ignition signal fault, put new coil packs in and fixed it.

Spotted a silver series 1 C34 on High St Wodonga VIC just now. Anyone on here own it? I was in a black series 2 C34 going the other way.

I've got a Gizzmo MS-2 and it works fine. Took quite a while to get dialed in but it's all good now. It's handy having a boost controller and turbo timer in the one unit, saves clutter. I've got mine mounted where the handbreak release was as I have a factory manual and no release handle there. You can see it nicely through the bottom of the steering wheel.
