Thermo dude. Go for a drive, build some heat and jump out and watch is spin!

I have on my 34 a JJR Solid Dump, high flow cat and a 3" Fujitsubo (JASMA) exhaust. It's very quiet when you're putting around town. But when you give it a bootfull it really has a nice note to it. Beats shifting to angel gear when passing police...

Double-post.

How do you guys get every last nasty drop out? Do you go so far as tilting your car and dry cranking the motor for a second?? Do you use a flushing oil?
-
Terry, thank you very much for your generous offer. But I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink beer... Stephen, I'll give you a buzz tomorrow dude. All I gotta do is change my oil! There are no free gutters around my place, to do the Thailand-technique. I did consider using bricks and my wind-up, but I don't wanna die! Actually, I've seen your jack.... Maybe I'll head up and spend the arvo with Terry... lol And hi Nera!

Free Coilovers
fastjetjockey replied to fastjetjockey's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
SOL.... Er, taken. -
Ahoy doods and doodettes, I need to do some stuffs to my car, and I needa a jack and some stands to do it! I'd buy the stuff, but it won't fint in my car with all my other stuff when I go to drive back to Brisbane on Tuesday. SO, if anyone has a fairly low service jack (~90mm), and 2 car stands for a 34 for me to borrow I would be elated. Let me know your price! For free I hope! There will be some beer innit. Cheers! Dion.

Ahoy kids, I ripped out some old shitty coils from my 34 and replaced them with some BC's a month or so ago. I've gotta head back to Brisbane on Tuesday, and cannot fit them in my car amongst all my other crap! So I'm giving them away to a good home. They're shitty old coilovers. Both of the backs are leaking, fronts are still fine. Height adjustable. Spring rates for the front are 8kg/mm, rears are 6kg/mm. I live in Camperdown in Sydney's Inner-West, until Monday night! So PM me or give me a call on 0423 396 114 to arrange pickup. On the eve of my departure, they will otherwise be on their way to landfill. Hope they find a home. Dion. Embedding won't work at present for some reason... http://youtu.be/cxF8OJpReUs

What Is The Correct Oil Filter For Gtr R34
fastjetjockey replied to NISSAN GTR's topic in General Maintenance
I bought a 15208-53J0A for my 98 34 GT-t. It has on it a Z145A. Are the two of those filters different, with regard to thread and gasket size? I know that they're different in unit size, but will my new genuine Nissan 15208-53J0A fit my Neo, or am I gonna have to go for a run to Repco to get another Z145A? Cheers! -
I'd like to come. If I'm not too messed up from Sat. night. Wanted to service my car on Sunday. Will see if I can knock it over in the early morn. :S

They have antennas??

As was said, still triple the GDP of #2. 14.3 Trillion is pocketmoney anyway... They won't default. They'll raise the ceiling and the world will go on being just fine and dandy.

I will be heading out there first thing on Saturday! Pretty excited... Not gonna lie. :3

In addition to this, if you equalise the pressure in your fuel tank during the warmth of the day, then the air in your tank cools at night you will create a vacuum. In fact I'd say thermal expansion and contraction would play a bigger part in your psssht factor than a dropping fuel gauge. There's only supposed to be two ends in your fuel system; Out of the filler, and to the motor. So If you haven't got any fuel leaks I think we can rule out the submerged/pressurised side. Leaving the filler. I agree with what has been said about your filler cap seals, or possibly a leak in the tube running to your tank. But again, if it's not leaking when you fill up, it can only leave the seals. Try a friends functioning filler cap.

Yeah mate, all Nissan sump plug threads post 1990 are the same - 12mm x 1.25mm. If you order on their site you'll find the product code is F-103 from memory Edit: I'll amend my statement. There are a few exceptions like Patrols, Sentras and Stanzas. And if you want the nipple-type valve, you suffix your code with an 'N'. So, F-103N.
-
Just ordered one for my car then. I also read that you can get them with a nipple, instead of just a straight hole. So you can attach a small hose and syphon it into bottles, or around suspension components if your car is awkward (i.e. not a Nissan ). Genius idea. They advise you to secure the lever with a zip tie or hose clamp should you have an off-road vehicle or are super-paranoid. But could you imagine someone that doesn't like you coming and sticking his arm under you car.... :S Alas, I'm sold!

P = V x A = 12 x 15 = 180W You can run up to ~180 watts on the circuit before your fuse will go. Which isn't much at all really... lol.

A Day At Ferrari Corse Clienti Repair Shop
fastjetjockey replied to N1GTR's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Never thougt I'd see a can of WD, a hammer and a centrepunch on the top tray of a tool trolley at Ferrari. Haha! -
I really don't want to think about how much crap my shonky pod lets through on my 34. I would like my stock airboxes back, but the car came with a pod. May do some reading and hunt down a better filtration system... i.e. better pod.

Rear Wheel Scrub
fastjetjockey replied to calebR33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
If you've got wide enough wheels mate, it's gonna scrub if you sink it far enough. Check the tyre or inside the guard to see how much it's scrubbing by. Chances are you just need to beat the lip up a bit for it to clear. You can borrow my heat gun and rubber mallet if you're nearby. -

fastjetjockey replied to CerealKiller's topic in New South Wales
Aye that was us! Just come back from a cruise to the gong. Skylines come in bunches, lol. Omm nom nom... -
Good night guys. Some pretty nice roads up that way; A nice change from beating around in the Inner-West! So, as you know I took my camera out for a bit of a bash. Still experimenting with it. Didn't take a great deal of photos tonight, but there's always the cruises tomorrow and Sunday! I got around how soft some of the photos were with some nasty photoshop filters lol. Hope you enjoy! Sorry bro, but the ONLY pic I took of your car that night was rubbish. lol >.< Looking forward to taking more photos of cars soon, and getting better at it! Time for bed...

I bought a couple of new tooly things a few months ago. Firstly I bought a Bahco 106 Piece Socket Set. Really pleased with the quality of the tools. Got it from Bunnings for $240. I've used Bahco stuff for work (rigging), and have always been happy with the quality of their tools. About 5 minutes later I bought a Bahco Metric Reversible Ratchet Spanner Set. Such a tasy little cluster of toolness! All in a groovy pouch. Super happy with these, use them all the time on my car, and at work. The 5° action of the ratchets means you need sweet FA room to move them for them to work. Great stuff! Got these from Bunnings aswell for $74. Bahco was the only brand on sale there that didn't have a lifetime warranty. They also had Kinchrome and Stanley. If it's just around the home I guess you could settle for Stanley. But wouldn't you want your kids to be replacing their old mans tool kit in 30 years time? lol

Here now. Brought my camera hope your cars are clean!!
