  1. They actually chopped the bottom of my Bride rail off, and then welded the mounting points under the slider to the floor, so the sliders can still work as per usual. Nice job you've done though, would have rather that done for the cost of mine... I'm going to do that on the passenger side eventually, as now the passenger seat sits way too high in the car in comparison to the driver.
  2. This is the job Brown Davis did on my seat rail. It was originally a Bride Superlow rail, and they chopped out the floor support and welded a new one in, then mounted the rail to the floor. It was hidesouly expensive, but I couldn't be any lower.
  3. I had exactly the same problem, and found the Cobra's and Recaro's to be the best for harness hole height. Couldn't be happier with my recaro though
  4. Hi all, looking for a short shifter for an R34. Let me know what you've got! Cheers Dane
  5. No need to be a member, just let them know the clubs you're here to see. Adz, Is it the Ford car club day you're referring to?
  6. Hey Adz, what's on the 10th man?
  7. They are massive side bolsters Troy, not going anywhere in that!
  8. That is simply the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in a motorsport thread on here. Everyone else seems to have covered the response, but I just had to tell you. It's attitudes like that which cause accidents.
  9. I'm 6'4, 93kg's and the recaro fits me perfectly.
  10. That sucks Sean... I'll keep an eye out mate
  11. Why the change Troy? I thought you were really happy with the RA's? Or are they in Adam's car now?
  12. Looking good mate, I like what you've done with the CAI. I'll be doing similar with my new headlight setup
  13. Thanks man. I think I do too! But the car God's do not seem to agree unfortunately...
  14. Thanks Nick, I'll be bitterly dissapointed if I don't make this Sandown...
  15. My mum's CLK does it all the time too, but their system is not as aggressive as Aston's. They stay within the confines of the car when they go off. Still, very annoying as you can't use the roof when they go off and it's a bitch to get them back down, but at least it's free!
  16. Just tell them WRX club and Skylines Australia
  17. Really it's just because I'm too scared to mix it up with you, Adam, Ryan and Dean My entry is filled out next to me, so here's hoping!
  18. Hopefully be there. Trying to solve an ignition issue at the moment, and if we can get it done this week it should be good to go...
  19. Looking good Adam! Freddy's done a nice job on the diffuser, will be interesting to see the difference it makes
  20. What set the roll bars off?
  21. The rail should fit the other seats fine, just need to do your measurements correctly. My Bride rail fir Bride's (obviously), Recaro's, OMP's, Cobra's etc. You just need to ensure that the base is not too wode for the mounts you have currently, which was my issue with the XL version of the Cobra Evolution and XL Velo I had.
  22. Troy: Thinks it's a race only import mate
  23. Make sure you do all your measurements correctly as well mate, as sometimes an XL seat with wings on it will hit the window, or require custom rails etc. It can be a real pain if you don't get it right!
  24. The Velo I bought before my Recaro was a really nice seat, but it was too big for me. But good value that's for sure
  25. I thought the Sparco 2000 was a really nice seat, but the harness holes were very low. I prefer the Cobra range for sure.
