  1. The nices seats I've tried are the Recaro SPA/SPG (which I ended up buying), the Cobra Evolution above (slightly too thin for my shoulders, and XL was too large in the hips and a pain to fit), OMP and Racetech seats. Your best best is to try them on, as their is a lot of variables. I've got a relatively thin waist, but wide shoulders and I'm tall so it was difficult finding a seat where the harness holes sat high enough, and that I wasn't swimming around in the bottom section. They're all good at that price range in my opinion, so get whichever feels nicest.
  2. I want to try mounting it off my cage as I had a cage mount put on for my Handycam... waste of money that was! But I also want to try mounting it off the window and where you mentioned near the A pillar also. I just wasn't sure whether to get one like the above, or the 'Ultra Clamp' type from Race Recall http://racerecall.com/mounts__cases.html Can you tell me how the POV head mounts to the screw type fitting on the ebay clamp I listed? I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed
  3. Haha true, it does look better than the old one, but that's not saying much.
  4. Thanks Duncan. Is yours the suction mount, or the window mount version. These seem like a pretty cheap option: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...=tab%3DWatching
  5. No doubt quick, but man is that thing ugly!
  6. That's less than the cost of my engine...
  7. I like the current system Strange that, but must just be the frequency it's at. I didn't have EPA issues at Sandown either with the open 'gate. Sorry to hear Matt, hope the engine is all good.
  8. So very true... without a race meet every now and then it's very easy to not be stuffed with it anymore, especially when it's been years in the build. I'm much the same, car should be done in a week or two, but it hasn't sunk in yet! By the way, LOVE the exhaust. Absolute work of art.
  9. Wow, really nice GT-R you have there. Always loved the white with gold BBS LM's
  10. Hey Duncan, which mount are you using for your camera? Is it the VIO branded one from race recall?
  11. I think most here would agree, but getting the message out to the general public is another story. And Neil, I can beat that...2 bottles of water and 6 nuggets at the GP: $15.60! Ouch!
  12. Hey Andrew, I had my CAMS approved cage built last year, and despite my bar not being a diagonal to the strut brace, we were at one point considering moving it there as I was having issues fitting into the car (couldn't get my seat far enough back). The cage builder I used gave no indication that this would be any issue and he is a member of the committee who deal with CAMS on this issue. However the rule may have changed since then, so best to check in the manual.
  13. Car looks great Ben, nice job! Yours too Snowy, that's quite the duo.
  14. My clubbie runs an X-pipe system too

  18. Wow, my girlfrend says she'll kill me if I think about doing Targa! As soon as I can afford it baby...
