    From what I've seen in 17's the Dunlops have also been a fair bit more than the RE55s. The prices are out of control... I need an alternative... Harry: The RE's vary quite a lot here too. The 235/45/17 was always about $50 or so cheaper than the 235/40's from memory, just depends what is the more common tyre.

    That's the trap I guess... my car was fine before I pulled it off the road. Now I'm poor, haven't driven it for 2.5 years and it will be a little quicker...

    I was tossing up buying these or sparco pins when I first got my carbon bonnet on... I went the pins and slightly regret my decision Oh well, that's laziness for you. Also, the guys at Revolution weren't 100% positive that I could line them up on the bonnet to sit perfectly flush but they hasn't been around that long at the time. Looks like they can be.

    I had the same issue Nick, Shannons wouldn't insure me as my car is in a secure but shared underground carpark. I went with RACV instead

    I've had good experiences with both Traction tyres and Race Brakes. I'd use them both again for sure.

    I think it looks quite good this year with a move toward perhaps more track time and better pricing, if Snowy is around the mark with $1500 per team. Pity I de-registered my car.
