  1. Because some parts suppliers are rats... Had some issues with my fuel system and have been dicked around. We want to make sure the car is right before it hits the track to minimise teething issues, so instead of rushing it we decided to go for Sandown later in the month. Not happy about it though... not happy at all.
  2. That's not really super spotted mate...
  3. I don't think I will be! I was pretty happy with the purchase, only have to throw in a couple of hundred more to get it after I sell my other camera
  4. Saw Hamilton and Kovalainen driving a C63 AMG through the gate 1 tunnel. He gave it to it, sounded awesome!
  5. And I'm out... balls
  6. I just bought myself a POV1 from the 'states as well. Demo model, and it only ended up costing me $710AUD delivered express. Can't wait to try it out! Now to sell my camera...
  7. I'll 4th that, go the noise I say!
  8. Nup, holding you to it Richard!
  9. Looks like I'm selling my HDD camcorder I just got Aaron: Racechrono seems to work pretty well. I just downloaded it. Sweet! What GPS device do you use?
  10. Not really mate. The red top is better for big power as it has a nicer designed head which flows a bit more, but the blacktop is newer. If it is an S14/15 black top then it will have VVT which could be good for low down torque production, but is usually lost once cams are fitted anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about which specification you get. The S14 engine also has the T28, but these are getting on a bit now. Just get the freshest possible and you should be fine. I pulled my '91 red top out after years of running 240rwkw's and 1.4 Bar and it was perfect. Had not lost any compression, with a variance of only 3psi at most. Great engines!
  11. That looks quite good mate. What sort of money is that setup?
  12. My mates got one and I was pretty impressed with it too... I want
  13. It's the VIO POV cam, said it earlier in the thread I think.
  14. There is no Melbourne Superlap yet unfortunately. John, any pics of the beast?
  15. I think both are good choices for the track. The S13 wll need upgraded brakes straight away, but S14/15/32/33 brakes will be plenty and the car is lightweight with lots of aftermarket support. Personally I wouldn't touch a CA, but that's me. I just don't trust their reliability. The 32 is also a good choice as it has bigger brakes already, but weighs a bit more. RB20 is a strong engine too and will take an absolute beating but feels quite gutless when stock.
  16. Well done Duncan, congrats on the win!
  17. I remember reading thaty the short wheelbase Z was quite twitchy, do you find that's the case? Or have you not driven it yet?
  18. Ahhhh, I had a feeling it may have been Nathan's old car. Nice buy, I love that car!
  19. All too aware unfortunately
  20. It's not limited to prestige makes. One of our reps took a Barina to Holden and they stung her more than that for the same service... if you look gullible, or they think they can egt away with it, they'll all take you for a ride.
  21. Nice cars there Greg... I'll take the Sauber and the Aston thanks
  22. So what is this cheater GT-R anyway Nick? Pics in Show me your Racing thread please
