  1. Thanks all! I can't take credit though, my mechanic Sam made it all up and did a great job of it. Richard, I ended up having the box made up by a friend of 'Craved' on here. Sam ( www.drdrift.com.au ) did all the other work with the hard lines etc
  2. Thanks for the tip Troy. Hopefully the perspex quietens it down a bit too, but worst case I can deal with it. My old RX7 used to whine like nothing else, so I'm used to it.
  3. Just scared the car won't be ready in time! But definitely pumped, I've been hanging to do PI for so long now... Pity you won't be here. But if I don't make it I may be doing PIARC with you
  4. I didn't know about it up until a few months ago!
  5. You could do driver training if you're new to it, but from what I'm aware it's not recommended for first timers without an instructor.
  6. Fuel system nearly complete... Really stoked with the job
  7. Also, after too many heat cycles the tyres will start to go off. Street driving will cause more heat cycles, so will deteriorate the tyres quicker.
  8. You're right...
  9. Me too Bec!
  10. Haha hopefully... if not too much goes wrong between now and then.
  11. Should be there! Entry sent
  12. Yep, well the RE's do at least. I run 235's and 255's on 9 inch rims and both fit nicely. As long as it's not a big stretch then you should be fine.
  13. There sure is http://www.revolutionracegear.com.au/index...amp;PSV=Primary
  14. Be aware that semi's with stiff walls cannot be stretched like other tyres, so if it's too small for the rim then it won't go on. Having said that I run 235 RE55s on a 9 inch rim with no troubles. Not sure about 9.5 though
  15. Check this thread out: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ca...l&hl=camera
  16. Hey Linton, it's only on top of the current metalwork as I wanted to keep the original tank and it would have been too costly/time consuming to chop it out and redesign it. It's more just a handy mounting area for the fuel setup and the easiest way to section off the fuel from the cabin for CAMS That is an AWESOME VW mate, absolutley love it! Be sure to put up some more pics when she's done
  17. Old! They're about 3 years old mate, but will chuck some tyre softener on and use them to run the car in before I put another set on.
  18. Nearly! It will be done super quick with Andrew's magical touch though
  19. Thanks mate. Yeah, it's spaced about 3 inches from memory
  20. Haha, it was a costly effort!
  21. Hey all, CAMS approved custom made alloy catch can. 3 dash 8 weld on fittings. $200 PM or reply here Dane
  22. I'm planning on going too, but need your help Andrew!!!!!!
  23. Getting close... maybe a little too close! I really don't want to miss PI
  24.
