  1. I havent done bw chins in ages, but I think 20 would quite easily be within reach considering I can do sets of 8 with 25kg. When I first started doing them 6 was as many as I could manage which was super depressing at that time...
  2. If I was to cut id probably only be like 85kg or a little less, but my abs are still somewhat visible as I am now and I see no point in cutting when im still trying to get bigger and bit stronger. Im not really a selfie person sorry birds...
  3. Its definitely personal preference in terms of what size is desirable, but im 6'1 and 90kg with about 12-15% bf I would say, Im not happy with my size yet. I have been lifting for 2 yrs (the first 6 months were pretty much wasted by not knowing what I was doing) when I started I was like 75kg. If I think back to what I looked like a 80kg I definitely wouldnt be content with that. You still look super skinny at that weight and height.

  6. I got my modded jdm evo 8 from interstate and all I had to do was get a rwc from any mechanic and an identity check. Do imports all have to go through dickson now or something?

  8. Yeh it was a serious question. If you dont want to answer it thats fine, I wasnt suggesting he has or hasnt, it doesnt take anything away from what hes achieved in my opinion. The man clearly has a ridiculous work ethic regardless. Why is there such a stigma attached to anything steroid related with some people? I didnt ask if smokes or drinks because to be honest, thats not the first thing I thought about when I saw the photo of him.

  10. The green with like 28-30psi should get you into 300s with plenty of torque, the red definitely will with less boost but will give less torque as well. The red would be a street weapon on a 2.3L All I can say is if I had the choice again id go the bb green

  12. Yeh im in canberra. Surely there is someone on evo oz up your way that can take you for a fang! The hks evc on my car is playing up at the moment because of the way its wired in (ecu 12v source), so as soon as the car has decent load the power gets cut to the boost controller and the waste gate opens and feels like the car just shat the bed. What was your power goal mick?
  13. Markos, what in your opinion are the 4 best assistance exercises for deadlifts, bench and squats?
  14. If youre not adverse to boost on a stock bottom end and its mostly street driven id get the green, unless you have plans to stroke to 2.3L later on. They can get into the 300+kw area on e85 with a decent amount of boost. My red starts to pull pretty hard around 3700 or so in 3rd, but the power is a lot more linear in delivery. Have you looked into gtpumps turbos at all despite them not being bb?
  15. Bit late to the convo, but ive got a jb fp red on my evo 8 and it hits 25psi by 4400rpm or so in 3rd on a stock manifold and not a full 3" tbe. So on a 9 with mivec, cams, aftermarket manifold and decent exhaust it might come in a little earlier. The trade off in spool is pretty minimal compared to a green but if I had my time again id go the green and run a bit more boost to push it to the 330awkw mark on eflex. Ive got a new exhaust, some gsc s2s and a new manifold to go in soon before a retune with more boost so ill report back and see how it changes the response and overall power if at all.
  16. Maybe put in what your current 1rms for bigger compound movements are so markos knows what sort of strength level your at, seeing as strength is your main focus for the next little while.
  17. I have done sumos a couple of times as an assistance exercise after doing regular deads. They felt a bit odd, but I think thats because I had a little too narrow of a grip on the bar
  18. Do most people at ptc pull with a mixed grip and do they put the same hand under every time or change it up?
  19. Competition definitely is an incentive to progress, but at the same time a lot of people dont like getting there ass handed to them. I would not be adverse to competing in a powerlifting competition or getting on stage at a body building comp long term but id like to at least be competitive before doing that I think.

  21. Can always use dumbells... Barbell behind the neck press never felt awesome for me and I didnt like it in front either. Its all personal preference really.

  23. You dont realise how critical skeep is until you start getting better quality of it. Before the ex and I broke up I was getting the worst quality sleep because she was in the bed. Made me get sick heaps. But since then, no more sickness and awesome sleep! Women eh...
  24. Just asking because when you are newer to lifting results come much faster in terms of strength and what you see in the mirror.
