Thanks for the input, I think this has been taken the wrong way though, most likely by my choice of thread name. The idea was not to start an official SAU newcastle club / event etc.. the idea was basically to get peolpe in newcastle and surrounding areas that are on SAU or SAU NSW members together to provide some networking, and maybe get some local meets (anyone from anywhere more than welcome, but all newcastle based etc).. hence the SAU newcastle name, although if this is against rules or confusing / upsetting people, we have no problem changing the name or removing SAU from any of the thread titles to not mislead / misdirect people, and/or inappropriatelty represent something we are not. this has come about becasue as much as i love going to sydney and especially SAU NSW events (which i plan to deffinately contiune doing, i actually have my car entered in and supporting the SAU group at this weekends The Low Down Showcased car show), its not easy for us to come to every small gathering that i would like to in the syndey area, just trying to start up similar things in the newcastle area. As mentioned above, Matt has made contact with the correct people and hopefully this all gets sorted with all parties happy. Cheers, Anthony

Good to see there is abit of interest.. Either way, will be a nice chilled Arvo... Maybe a stockton drive would be a good spot to go afterwards for abit of a run.. Probably get some nice pics there too with newy in the background... I can bring my DSLR..

Anyone going to the low down showcased this weekend in Sydney? was thinking of organiseing a cruise down, but because my car is entered in the rooftop, I may have to get there anywhere from 9-12 I think, which is a fair bit earlier than the 1pm start! My time slot isn't confirmed yet though.

yea never been intot the night life here that much.. i just gerenally stick to the quiter pubs etc.. bit boring, but dont have huge lines for drinks etc..
