  2. Hey mate, do you have the blue or red 34r?.. Would love to see a red one in person is all.
  3. Looks like you guys had a great time, wish I could have made it again, had great fun last time.. Just a little too far from newcatsle for one day... Keen to see the vids!
  4. Good to meet you to mate, hopefully you have time to drop in and catchup again.
  5. No problem mate, thread now posted in the NSW events section. Hope to see alot of people there.
  6. Hello Everyone.... After a bit of talking in the SAU NEWCASTLE thread we have decided to have a meet and greet, and maybe go for a quick cruise somewhere if people are interested on the day etc. Date / Time: Sunday 8th July 2012 / 12.00 Noon Location: Mattara 333 Charlestown Road Charlestown NSW meetup in the large carpark behind the pub off Tallarra Street.. low car friendly carpark and plenty of room! http://www.mattara.com.au/ Plan: basically turn up, meet/talk and look at each others cars, then head into the pub overlooking the carpark i believe and have a beer and some food if you want, if not can head off from there. After a drink or two and a feed, we may decide to go for a quick cruise around somewhere, if it happens and were we go can be decided on the day pending interest. We hope the location suits, we tried to cater for as many as possible deciding on a pretty central location. This is not for just SAU members or skyline owners, anyone is more than welcome to come in any car they want, Just please dont turn up and act like a tosser (we all know the rules im sure). Also if any Sydney people are keen for the drive, also very welcome! Any questions, post up here and im sure we can sort them out. Hope to see you all there. This is not an official SAU-NSW cruise, but regardless, on this cruise we will ALL be sticking to the speed limit. There will be NO DRIFTING. NO BURNOUTS NOTHING ILLEGAL! We will be the most courteous users on the road, and we will not be doing ANYTHING to cause any disrepute for the club. Cheers, Anthony
  7. Yea righto... please would be nice! haha
  8. fair enough buddy, if anyone is keen just let me know....
  9. Going for a run with jarrad this afternoon at around 4.30-5 to take advantage of the nice weather. if your keen to come along let me know and can arrange a meet spot probably in broadmedow..
  10. ha i had to remove the rear strut to get mine out... show us a pic of yours with it sliding out etc? really dont know how that would work unless the battery is miniture?
  11. Sounds like a good idea mate, but maybe not as a first one, as I believe it may be hard to get the exact numbers for food etc.. Probably easiest to just to the pub, people can eat, or get a beer or whatever they want. If there is enough interest, we can probably go up sugarloaf after the meet I guess?... Ok Sunday July 8 is looking like the favored date so far.
  12. Yea sounds like a good plan... hopefully get a half decent turnout. newcastle is a fairly large place, would think there would be quite a few people on SAU keen to get amongst it??
  13. Yea fair enough, mine came with the aircon unit up top so cant help you much there.. i just removed the old single din unit and replaced it with a nice alpine unit.... goes really will with the interior i think.. not cheap though. you palnning on putting in something like that?
  14. Also post up if your interested in a feed there for lunch? or just an arvo beer etc...
  15. Yea thats sounds like a plan... lets sit on it to see how things go then make it event next week or something.
  16. yea fair enough mate. Hows that location for everyone else? time wise thinking weekend of the 7th of next month... sat or sun doesnt bother me.. sunday might be better for people?
  17. not sure where the police station is to be honest... seems to be ticking all the boxes though... might need to start looking at dates / times etc. what suits people?
  18. ahh yea i know that one, yea that has a massive carpark behind it next to the cinemas etc.. would be a good spot i think, we wouldnt take up the whole place and cause any unwanted attention.. i think thats a goer mate, i like it.. anyone else have any objections or other ideas?
  19. im in the city area... charlstown is pretty central, that could work i rekon.. whats the place called? probably dont need a huge carpark as there doesnt seem to be huge interest ha?..
  20. Do you want yours to look like this mate?
  21. Yea i was thinking that was the only thing wrong with that place, is abit far out of the way for central coast or even lower newcastle people to travel to... any other ideas around the glendale area or something?.. im not down that way too often and dont know the area real well.. Yea mate, will have to come on the old pac hway run when that happens, if it ever stops raining!.. but...... the F3 does run both ways haha! get the girl out and strech her legs!
  22. Unfortunately don't have any pics of my car with white stock wheels sorry. I never even saw the wheels as the previous owner wasn't to keen to put them back on the car for sale as they required rubber and abit of rash repair work... So I didn't push for them.
  23. keep the ideas coming guys, i still cant think of one that suits nicely.. I think a good idea could be a place we could meet up in a sizable enough carpark, in the newcastle area (i think if we made it out of the way to much, people might not show up for the longer drive if you know what i mean?) near a pub we can go have a social drink or something, then maybe go for a run in our cars if there is enough people / interest?.. Just my thoughts... not suggesting this exact place, but was thinking something like hexham bowling club off pacific highway.. its out of the way but still relatively central, big easy access carpark etc.. something like that maybe?
  24. yea mate, trickle charger was about $60 maybe?.. not too much, just plug into the wall and attach at the front etc... works well.
  25. ha i think i actually got century battery which is yellow!
